[ The video comes on and it appears to be neatly propped up on a desk. He's spinning a pen between his fingers. It's clear he's sitting at a desk, given by how much you can see of him. He's never posted to the network before. ]
A couple of you may know this, but I am a manga-ka at home, and obtained a physical copy my series about a month ago. Not long ago, I did get a publisher and I'm able to get additional prints of it so that I do not have to lend out my only copy.
[ But that is only partially the point of this post. ]
I'm in the process of developing a new series. There's only so much to work with within my own experiences. I've drawn many pieces of scenery here, filled up sketchbooks with pictures of Prismals and Moonblessed alike.
[ He sets his pen down on his desk, and stops playing with it. ]
So that's where I come to you. I'd like to hear stories about your life prior to here. Whether that is an interesting story or fact about you or the world you come from.
[ Oh, yeah. ]
And, one more thing. I guess, since I'm feeling generous. If anyone would like to see if I drew them - just let me know. I'd recommend posting a video. I draw what I like so there's no guarantees, but it's possible.
[ ooc; i'm happy to have had him draw p. much anyone who would be spending regular time at the park, especially if they sit still for a few minutes when there since that's where he draws most his inspiration from! ;) ]

I have to say that would make your world unique. Bio-terrorism isn't really something used where I'm from. So no zombie apocalypse. Though there is a bit of zombie apocalypse media.
I'll mostly be drawing while watching, anyway. I draw quickly.
[ he'll try his best not to be weird but that's quite a promise to make ]

[ Plus, her kind of night out is watching a straight-to-VHS 90s action movie, so she's aware her taste isn't exactly... of quality. ]
Ha ha, yeah.
Generally that's just the cheapest way of doing it. You can use people against themselves vs. spending money on something already put together.
Animals can mutate, too, naturally, and there's a lot of money in the industry.
People are always looking for ways to make or acquire the "perfect soldier" after all
Well, it's no big deal. Since I offered, you know?
Hey. Nice to meet you, Rohan.
You'd know me if you saw me. Short, brunette ponytail, thighs that can break a human skull.

I'm not shocked that there's a world like yours, if I'm honest. I just wouldn't have expected it to be real and to meet real people from it. I'm going to guess you're probably not from 1999 like myself.
It sounds like you'd be hard to miss, so I'll know who to look for.

I'm from 2009, but I've met people from close to a hundred years in the future.
So you're not too far off, at least.
In my world it started in early 1998 and escalated from there.
[ She is polite enough to pull a selfie -- the whole lifter mirror technique. No face, shoulders down, and indeed her legs look like they can crush bones. ]

[ Interesting. ]
Different worlds, I suppose.

[ Especially since while her world is similar to other earths of 2009, they're ahead of most everywhere in terms of tech. ]
Figured as much.
For the better, though, since it's not something I'd wish on anyone.

We have our own share of problems, but nothing quite that extreme.

Everyone does.
I don't like to compare because there are different measurements and thresholds.
Everywhere has bullshit. That's what I'm learning, anyway.

I'd prefer if it were more interesting.

Ha, fair. Always want what you can't have, I guess.
Anyway, I'd be happy to meet up with you whenever you've got time. I'm often training or messing with weapons.
Gotta keep sharp.

The park? Well, I don't usually take all my weapons with me for obvious reasons.
But I usually have a handgun and knife on me.
You'd have to come to me if you want a look at anything heavier.

I mean, I'd like to check out the heavier things, at some point. But for now, at the park, yes.

Give me twenty or so. :)
