[At long last, Ambrosine finally makes a post here with her name attached.]
Something I should ask, as I seriously doubt I'm the only one who found themselves in this situation:
Is anyone else dissatisfied with the clothing you can purchase off the shelves in the shops here? The sizing is completely useless, I've already found myself at a loss of what to do for the one week out of the month I have a tail, and let's face it. It's difficult to get ahold of good corsetry here.
If anyone would like to lend their talents to a worthy cause, I would be willing to pay handsomely.
My other inquiry is a bit more generalized, I suppose. What sort of books does everyone here enjoy? This is, of course, a completely innocent question that I have no plans to use for the purpose of ensnaring you in a world of fabulous literature later on.

Only one sort of books?

...and perhaps I was a little too restrictive in that regard, no?

Just a little. I enjoy a good historical drama, but then there are also mysteries, and fantasy, and lighthearted romance, and I have a weakness for poetry as well... The list goes on.

I'll let you know when I finish my little project.

If you can't figure out how to wear real clothes, just use Chromawear
Unless that's something else you're also lacking in

[Truesight is a bitch. ]
And besides, my concerns are with comfort as well as aesthetics.

Technically I think it qualifies as the most comfortable option too
So if it's not viable, that seems unfortunate.
What's your problem with tails, then
I've probably had one for long enough I can give some advice. [ haha, jokes... not that it's obvious in text, but. ]

...and, um, I like mystery books.

[ Because even if your clothes are altered to the tail, how the hell do you put on pants in a way that isn't horribly awkward? Not that this matters too much to Ambro, since she almost always goes for dresses, but still. ]
When I was a child I had the habit of reading mystery novels backwards. Of course, it ruined the suspense of it all, but figuring out how things always ended up to the dramatic reveal was its own reward.

Ah, that actually sounds fun? Maybe I should try it...

I could make some alterations for you! Changing pants or skirts to slip a tail through is really easy. I could even use buttons or a zipper if you want to use it when you aren't transformed.

I am afraid I would be of no help in matters of corsetry, but I have found that there are willing tailors in the city.
I enjoy musical ballads more than books, but the classics have always had merit.

Also, I'm pretty fond of mystery novels. It's always a good time trying to see if you can figure out the solution before the characters do.

I appreciate your recommendation, but unfortunately, I have neither the interest nor the physique for most menswear.
[If you're more of the busty persuasion, most menswear just doesn't cut it.]

And ah, that's a shame. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

If I didn't know how dangerous magic could be, I'd find the idea of being ensnared in a world of fabulous literature alluring.
What type of books do you prefer?

I could do fiction as well, but I find it just a bit exhausting to put forth the sort of investment you'd need in caring about what happens.
[ Because fandom requires some level of emotional investment, okay.]
