I have some things to ask of you, and I hope that you will be patient with my attempts at replies. I am not terribly used to using the keyboard yet, though I would prefer to take my time typing for reasons that I will explain.

Firstly, where would one go to find fishing supplies? I tried to ask the locals, but they seem to have misinterpreted my requests to be interest in forming romantic relationships with merpeople. I am not particularly interested in that sort of thing period at this point in time, and as Sanguis has put me in an ill mood, I may have handled the conversation with the merchant to whom I was directed somewhat poorly. I apologized profusely when I calmed down, but I wish to avoid any further mishaps in that vein. Does anyone know where I would be able to purchase fishing supplies?

Also, as I was unable to pass out much candy during the actual events of Geistnacht due to everything that occurred, I am left with a large quantity of leftovers and I am unable to eat it all. Is anyone else having this problem? I was thinking of leaving it out in a common area, but I do not know if that is what's done here.

Camping stores should have you sorted out.
I can show you where one is, if you'd like, since I've recently bought some supplies.
Otherwise get a stick, hot glue or tie a knife to it and there's your spear.

As for the candy, I forgot entirely.
Could probably find some kids here that'll take it off your hands.

That would be very helpful, as the marketplaces here can be a bit overwhelming compared to what I am used to. I actually arrived with a spear, but I would prefer to fish with a rod given that while I enjoy catching fish to eat, my true aim in fishing is relaxation.

That is very true. I doubt I will be lacking in options when it comes to what to do with it.

I've been to bigger and it never gets easier.
But I understand preferences, so it's no problem.
If you aren't good with maps on these things we can meet up somewhere and I'll take you there.
I'm usually pretty good with maps, but I'm better hands-on.

Ah, I see. The size is a bit of an issue, but my primary issues are sensory overload, I suppose. The markets back home can certainly be loud, but generally they are less bright and colorful.

With that said, I believe I can make it to a cafe I remember liking without getting terribly lost. Besides, I feel like shopping with company is more interesting than going alone.

That's perfectly understandable. We have places similar where I'm from and it's easy to get distracted.
Doesn't help when it's all MEANT to get your attention, either.

I definitely can see how this is something like this would come about, at the very least, based on how merchants hawk their wares back home. It’s merely the intensity of the messaging, I suppose.

[...well, Seteth has Sanguis features, at least, between the ram horns and the snake-y vertical pupils, so there's that, at least! ...annnd he's still wearing his usual medieval-ass attire sans the circlet, which he can't fit on his head over the horns. So he... kind of stands out, but eh. He'll acclimate eventually.
