01 ♫ VIDEO
[As soon as the video starts, Demyx is looking down at the camera while fiddling with something behind it.]
You got it? Just hold onto it like this - both hands, and don't drop it! Once we're done I'll get you some more glow sticks, okay?
[For a moment a pointed silver "hand" covers the lens, prompting Demyx to gently re-adjust whatever it is. He disappears from view once everything seems normal, and there's some rustling in the background before Demyx bounds back into frame with a small remote and a wild grin.]
Okay! You guys've seen those little robots they got out in the street, right? Turns out they've got smaller ones that're for your rooms and stuff so I may have gone out to get one like... two nights ago, along with some other things. Now you're probably thinking that's pretty cool - not having to do a crazy amount of cleaning, right? Well, they get way cooler! Hang on--
[He pushes a button on the remote, and inside his apartment music starts to play in the distance.
It slowly starts to get closer and louder in turn, and whatever is manning the communicator starts to get a little wobbly. Almost as if it's... dancing. And eventually a flat, circular vacuum scoots into view with a set of speakers attached to it, prompting a laugh from Demyx.]
Ta-da~♪ Presenting the one and only DJ Roomba!
[It bumps into a corner, turns, and after a couple seconds it starts to creep towards the camera, which gets the attention of the 'camera man'. After it gets close enough, the communicator drops, and a strange silver creature twists and zooms out of view as Demyx scrambles to pick up the dropped device. Whatever that was, it sure did get spooked!]
I guess he didn't like the song or something, but uh... Anyway! I wanna load this baby up with other stuff, so gimme some really good ones!

voice, for troll purposes
[ A pause. ]
Or because he couldn't, if you want the excuse.
voice
Not that she was going to say anything.]
Alright. This just doesn't seem all that practical, which was why I was asking.
[ She'll ask Demyx for more of his reasoning later. Maybe there actually was a practical use that she wasn't thinking of for... DJ Roomba. That was what he called it, right? ]
voice
Your first mistake was assuming it would be practical at all. And that's so sad. Don't they let you have any fun in Keyblade Training? Or do they drill that out of you early?
voice
[ She's just ignore the rest of it. She already knows that giving this woman more to twist back at her wasn't going to help at all. Honestly, she should probably just shut down this conversation right now, but it'd just get started up again next time anyway.]
voice
Awww, so sorry, did I hit a nerve? Why don't you tell me what you do for fun, Blue? Enlighten me.
voice
[ She already knows that Larxene is just going to use that to make a jab at her again, but Aqua's pretty sure that unless she answered 'torturing small animals' that Larxene would use whatever she said as a jab at her.
... Actually, even if she said that the result probably would've been the same.]
voice
[ She's so boring to Larxene that she almost doesn't have any good material to work with. She seems more clueless and overall Good than Sora at this point. ]
voice
[ She knows that she should have even asked that question, but it had slipped out before she could really think to stop herself. ]
voice
...Do I need a reason?

[ Even if she still doesn't see the point, well, he clearly enjoyed it so whatever.]
Do those speakers stay on without any trouble, or did you need to spend a lot of time figuring it out? [ Obviously there's stuff like tape, but she's not if tape would work well enough on those speakers for long. ]
no subject
[Though she can't see it, his face screws up momentarily in confusion.]
They're just speakers, so it's not like I'm trying to do rocket science or anything like that.
[It's not super complicated!]
no subject
Still, it's not like you just put them on the robot without securing them at all, right?

I guess that response gives me a definitive answer to my last question.

[He snaps his fingers.]
Bam. I had people buying me all sorts of food earlier this month, so why not something a little fancier?

[He's the Master of Schmooze. He'll schmooze his way up to a better couch if he has it his way!]
'sides, they were buying me tons of food. I didn't have to go out or buy anything for almost a week.

...Well, clearly you're more experienced with what will work than I am.
