[Now that everyone is safely back from the Spirit world and Yang's gotten her latest Sanguis cycle over with, there's something she needs to do. Even if she's more conflicted about it than she's willing to admit, putting it off any longer just risks placing the people she cares about the most in danger.
Calling a meeting for this seems unnecessary and making a video post feels weird so instead she just sends a written message out to her friends and their allies through the network.]
Vernal wasn't the Spring Maiden. Raven Branwen is.
I don't want anybody to get hurt so please. Be careful around her. I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys sooner.
[There. It's done.]
[[OOC: The message is text but video, voice, or even action replies are welcome!]

Raven's killed people. Probably lots of people. And while her mother has never gone completely out of her way to hurt her friends, she's certainly never lifted a finger to help them either. She's 100% sure Raven would have let her walk right back out of that camp without ever knowing Weiss was less than 20 feet away from her in a cage and she obviously had no problems setting them up against Cinder and her associates.
Perhaps the really scary thing is simply that she just doesn't know what her mother might do at any given time.
After another moment, she finally responds.]
Thanks. I don't think I'd ever forgive her or myself if she hurt you.
[Yang won't be hard to find. She's in her room, sitting on the edge of her bed and looking all kinds of conflicted.]
no subject
I know. Let's try to avoid that from happening.
[ Never say never, hell if she knows what Raven is thinking or going to do either. ... But that line sounds extremely familiar too, ahahahah. So, reverse situation now but at least this time they know about it now and not ... after everything happens.
Blake arrives there to sit next to her, doesn't say anything and just hugs.]

It's the hug that breaks her.
A ragged exhale tears its way out of her, her entire body slumping heavily towards Blake before she wraps her arms around her in return. Burying her face into her shoulder, her entire body hitches with each breath as she starts to sob quietly.]
no subject
... Oh. Well. ...She could see that breaking coming or more like feel it'd happen, tell from those glances, whatever anyone wants to call the combination of all of that really. Maybe it's called from knowing her partner, that would be one way to put it.
Blake swallows a little as she's getting somewhat emotional too now. Not to the point of crying even if that's close too and it'd be fine even while she's emotional support here. But... yeah, it sure is never easy to see loved ones going through bad things. She lets Yang be there, petting her hair and back quietly and giving her all the time she needs to let it all out. ]

God, I'm so stupid.
[She all but coughs the words out between deep breaths, voice lodging in her throat.]
She's never going to change. She doesn't care. So why...?
[Why did she try to protect her?]
no subject
You're not stupid.
[ Biased because Yang is the most amazing girl Blake knows but hey, at least she can say she's not stupid for sure.
It takes her what feels like forever for Blake to say ... something... anything. Not just because she's careful with whatever she's about to say but for all the reasons ever. Blake continues petting her hair. There's no judging in her tone or anything, it's more like soft and careful and kind of quiet but easy for Yang to hear when she's so close. ]
Because it sounds like maybe you still care about her, even after all of that and even when it's complicated as hell and hard to admit after everything... I guess I'd be more surprised if you didn't care about her at all. [ she'll rather take this, whatever emotional mess this is. ] And maybe because you're still hoping she'd change, even when that's a really long way to go and she'd have to admit it and really want it to happen too. Besides, now we're all stuck here, so obviously avoiding any of us running into each other anytime is not like it's back home.
[ Which makes everything even more complicated ( as if most feelings and things aren't always complicated ) or makes it even more likely to run into Raven out of nowhere anytime. Lots of maybes there instead of sounding like she's certain about her assumptions. ]
super late tagback!
Her sniffles slowly cease and her shoulders stop shaking with repressed shudders. She looses one arm around Blake just enough to bring a hand up to scrub miserably at her face.]
I don't want to care about her. [Petulantly.] I don't want anything to do with her.
[None of that is really true though, no matter how much Yang might wish it were. She had yet to succeed at making herself truly not care about something or somebody who'd previously mattered to her.
And she knows it.
Returning her arm back around Blake, Yang leans slightly more into her hold, almost like she's trying to nestle against her for comfort.]
It was so much easier when I thought she was just going to ignore me. I could deal with that. I've been dealing with it my whole life.
But now...
[That's obviously not an option. It's just as Blake said, they're all stuck here. Even if she had cut all ties with Raven mentally and emotionally, that didn't mean she couldn't still run across her.
And it was doubly unfair that Raven could still approach her whenever she damn-well pleased.
Yang bites her bottom lip, brows knitting together.]
I'm not going to let her antagonize. I can't let her mess with me like this...
[But what recourse does she even have? Just tell Raven to never speak to her again?]
