Hello, everyone! My name is Konoha... I'm a jinba, or a "centaur" if you want... I'm from Echigo in Japan, but lots of people say I'm from the past...

[She's just going to do the same introduction every time, counting off details on her fingers to make sure she gets all the good points... there's too many people on this thing and she doesn't check it enough to keep track... oops. Anyway-]

I wanted to ask people some questions about food! My husband and I have set up a little farmstead, but the crops are growing, um, way faster than they really ought to be... [we're just going to speed past the blush] and it's not like we actually have to work for money here, so I was thinking of not just taking the crops to market but... serving meals at the house? Or sending them to people elsewhere in the city? I don't know, but I've met a lot of people here who said they just eat food from the stores, and I know those are really convenient, but it can't be better than a home cooked meal, can it?

So... can I ask you some questions about what sort of food you like? Or what kind of things you miss from your home? Maybe what they make in your country with vegetables? If you give me some of your time, I'll send you some fresh ones as a "thank you"-

Well right now we mainly have eggplants, turnips, radish, taro root, pumpkin... and a few early cabbage!

Good, those are all things I'm familiar with. It's a pain trying to come up with ways to use stuff you've never heard of. In that case, I'll send you an order list a little later.

Now that you mention it, I think I've heard something about diseases not spreading to other species...

Well, I've never met a 'jinba' before, but my potions seen to work the same on humans, demihumans, and monsters do I'd expect centaurs to be about the same.

Just make sure to let me know about any allergies or whatever beforehand.

No, as much as I'd like to make my sales, it's better that people stay healthy in the first place.

Mm. At least it's easier to do here than back in my world. Maybe your world too, I guess?

My original world has pretty advanced medicine, yeah. Not like they can cure everthing, but compared to the past it's pretty much miraculous, I guess you'd say.

That's not where I learned any of my crafts, though. I got brought to another world before I got pulled here, and it's probably more along the lines you'd be used to.

Eh- You went to a world before Lunatia, too? I didn't think there were many more of us... Was it at least an alright place?

Yeah, this isn't my first isekai.

I can't say many good things about the other world. They're in the middle of a disaster right now, but it looks to me like it was terrible long before that.

That sounds like me... I got taken by a witch before this who made me and a group of people go to all sorts of other worlds to try and fix them...

I didn’t want to leave home in the first place...

Something like that, yeah. They pulled me to their world to fight their battles for them but left me on my own and treated me like some criminal the whole time.

It was pretty much hell most of the time.

I'm so sorry... The witch at least treated us like we were helping out, even though we were trapped there...

It is what it is, I guess.

I gained a lot of skills and abilities that make living easier here, and I did meet some friends that I care about so I can't completely turn my back on it.

I just wonder which world I'll go back to after I'm done with this place.

Between that world and your home world?

... that’s a good question, isn’t it? Where the people go when they leave here. Everyone says it’s home, but...

No way to know, right? I've still got my 'weapon', magic and skills from the other world, and I guess my job there still isn't finished. I'm assuming I'd just be sent back there, but who knows?

Mm... Because the witch promised us she'd send us home... But then I ended up here instead...

All I was ever told was that I couldn't be sent home until our with was done.

I have no idea how I ended up here, but I doubt the mages in that world had anything to do with it.

Honestly, I don't think I'll ever have any idea. I don't get magic, or all this "technology"...

Are you going to look? For a way to try to get home to your original world?

I don't know. I kind of got used to the idea that I couldn't go back until my job was done.

I hate that world, but I don't hate some of the people in it.

Exactly. Not like that world was that much better to them, but it's still their home.
