[ The video flickers on and Riou... does not have his wolf ears as he did in the past. In fact, it's noteable that he looks a little frustrated. He's got a small frown and his brows are furrowed in a state of perplex. Indeed, there's not a Sanguis trait in sight.

When Riou returned to Prismatica, he returned as a member of the Iris gang. More than that, he returned with the strength of an anime from the 90's. Okay, no suit. No shirt either, since those wings definitely don't fit in there. Basically you've got a man in camo pants with no shirt and giant swan wings. ]

What circumstances causes a blessing to change? I was Sanguis before.

[ And now he's spent all morning sitting with his legs crossed and willing his "heat" to go down so that he could make a post to ask. He has it under control for now, thank you.

What's less under control is the fact that he can in no way hunt like this?? How is he supposed to get food when he can't blend into his environment? ]

The only way around it is through it, if you catch my meaning.
If you use your hand you can get relief long enough to do basic things quickly before it comes back.


Having someone around who is willing and able to take care of you for the duration of it is ideal, but not easy on them...


About the wings, though. They do. They also have them with space for the wings to come out. There are a lot of manner of humanoid creatures on this planet so the style of clothing seems to allow for wings, tails, horns, or what have you.

I hope that someone with more experience dealing with this responds to you. I feel a little bad replying when I haven't gone through this myself... Hopefully, you'll be able to find an answer soon.

To be completely honest, I usually stay indoors during the peak of the cycle, if I can help it. Since it falls on the same days every month, it's easier to plan for it and adjust your schedule accordingly.

Not that dealing with it is easy, of course... It's incredibly inconvenient. But when I do need to leave, I try to avoid less crowded areas and keep a respectable distance from anyone I meet. That alone isn't enough to solve everything, but it does help.

[ ...Samatoki doesn't like to admit he likes to bottom. Riou never managed to actually succeed at it but he would try whenever Sanguis was out. He was pretty damn alpha.

He doesn't know if Samatoki could handle it while he's Iris since Irises don't have the "alpha" reputation. ]

[ He hasn't learned about Jyuto yet, he'll be fine when he finds out about Jyuto. ]

[ It's not the same as a normal fever, he notes, but yes. He doesn't respond though since Jyuto already said he's coming over. He's got to concentrate on not popping a boner before Jyuto gets here now.

Which means he unlocks his door and disarms his traps at the front so Jyuto can get in, and is sitting cross legged in the middle of his floor trying to will his thoughts not to travel to the fact that Jyuto is the same as he is. They're both Iris. He wonders what features Jyuto has. If he's a rabbit as he's so-called, then he wonders if he has a delightful little tail. He wants to touch it.

..He may have to lay off eating real rabbits for a while if that's the case. At least in the traditional sense. Whenever he hears Jyuto outside, he calls out. ]

[ You know... just putting that out there. ]

[ Serious. Serious......... then ten seconds later, he lets out a snicker. ]

[ He blinks slowly for a moment. Oh. ]

That must be why I've been changed to Iris.

[ So Jyuto isn't the only lonely only rabbit... ]

yeah? how'd that upset him? would he get mad if an iris kicks his ass or whatever

[ What's Riou whatting about... Samatoki's just amused that Jyuto's a bunny! ]

[ Jyuto lets himself in accordingly, and though Riou's already disarmed aforementioned traps, because Jyuto doesn't know and it's Riou's apartment h's entering, he's wary. Two long, dark rabbit ears are perked forward, listening for any sounds that may tip him off— he doesn't want his foot caught, or to wind up otherwise suspended in a net. Is there even room for that up there? His cautious eyes find the ceiling. Probably not, but he's sure Riou could find a way... ]

I brought the cooler.
[ Letting him know. When he's realized he's in the clear to come in fully, he notices Riou sitting on the floor. He looks the same as he did in the video broastcast, defeated, and wilted. Yes, Jyuto has a tail. And though it isn't visible because he's too stubborn to cut holes in his clothing, it lifts with an unseen wiggle during Jyuto's almost desperate attempt to cheer Riou up. ]

Anyway...! Look, we're the same. It's not so bad; I thought I'd be the only one, and I only didn't mention it to you sooner because Samatoki made Iris sound like something to be embarrassed about. [ He really doesn't want him to stay upset. Though Riou is thick-skinned, Jyuto can easily distinguish when something is bothering him.

He sets the cooler down, ice clunking against itself as he does. Jyuto's green eyes belatedly drink in the fact that Riou is half-naked with a pair of swan wings. ]
Besides, you look good. Better than me, right? [ Good is a word, but it doesn't describe what he thinks as accurately as others. Riou doesn't deserve to getting objectified by Jyuto's horny Iris thoughts. He's trying hard to stay polite.

Jyuto squats beside the ice he's brought. He's ready to refill Riou's icepack. And because he begins to feel awkward about verbally admitting his interest in Riou's new wings, he tries to divert the other man's attention: ] Where was your ice pack?

You're still Sanguis.

[ Which means she and Samatoki are Sanguis, and he is not.

Though he does add. ]

Samatoki said that Jyuto is Iris though.

[ So now he isn't alone at least. 'u' ]

[ Iris and the triple moon being back-to-back isn't something he worried about before. But it's been one day and he's already stressed out. ]

When I was Sanguis before, I only had to cut a hole in the back of my pants. It was much easier. I'll look around some stores.

[ He likes his camo though, so finding something that he likes is going to be a whole Thing... ]

Eight days in a row is a lot.

[ At least the other two cycles get a break. Over a week is a long time to be practically useless from horniness.

Perhaps if it's well-known it won't be a big deal if he goes outside with obvious wood in his pants... ]

In the case of public erection, what is the general procedure?

[ He nods. Talking online is interesting because he learns different information from different people at the same time. It's at least better now that they're together. ]

[ That's his logic. He doesn't want Jyuto to be left out any more than he wanted to be left out, and Jyuto is the whole reason he's in MTC to begin with, so he's happy to be Iris if it means Jyuto isn't excluded. ]

[ He pauses, thinks about it. Oh wait-- ]

[ Samatoki is actually a wolf, but it's close enough. ]

[ There is-- Riou's done a lot of unauthorized work on this apartment. But at the door, he's since gotten rid of the net after he accidentally captured Sen and Samatoki in it when they tried to surprise him for his birthday. If they're to be caught in it, he wanted something more comfortable for his captives so he changed it to a drop cage, which is a more sophisticated device, but they're on the top floor so he had space to build-- no one ever goes up there, after all, and it did inevitably prove to be very useful and result in a threesome. That was not in his plan, but he thinks it's a much better result than Samatoki and Sen caught in a net.

Regardless, it's disabled so that Jyuto can come in. He's not going to intentionally capture his friend without good reason, especially during Iris when he can't help but feel like he wants to keep Jyuto out of trouble. (Though perhaps intentionally capturing him to keep him out of a bad situation may be a consideration later-- but not now. That would require extreme circumstances or Samatoki's orders.) When he starts speaking and comes through the door, Riou looks up at him, though he leans to the side slightly as if he's trying to see if there is something. It's impossible with Jyuto facing him though, so he gives up and turns his focus to the cooler. ]

Nothing about a rabbit makes you look bad. In America, there's a popular concept called "Playboy Bunny." They wear bowties, though.

[ But still, the suit and the ears... That is probably an incredibly strange thing to bring up, but Riou doesn't consider it might be uncomfortable. He's always honest, saying what he thinks unless it's confidential or he's told it's inappropriate-- sometimes late.

It's probably made worse when Riou reaches into the front of his pants to pull out his melted ice pack, expression unchangingly stern as he does so. It's the equivalent of a cold shower without turning himself into a prune or making a huge mess because of the wings.. ]
