I've spoken with half a dozen Prismals and counting, yet none can tell me the following with any certainty.

- Why they can't produce Chroma for themselves.
- Why those brought from outside Prismatica can.
- How Moonlacing functions at its core.

If anyone else, perhaps not a local, has information please share it.

I'm new enough to this place that I haven't even had time to try asking those questions myself, so I've got no clue there. I can say that Chroma-reactive stuff doesn't seem to play by the same magics as my world, after attempting to dispel those music boxes unsuccessfully.

I'm very concerned about the physical changes thing myself. Undead... Appear to vary by world, where I'm from it usually involves necromancy, horrible death circumstances, or undead creating more undead. They tend to be very hungry, and easily as vicious as any demon.

Haven't seen anyone younger than a teen yet, but limited sample and I'd bet that if there are kids among us, the government's moving in fast to take care of them. They seem the sort to actively try to step in for that sorta thing.

... That last one is absolutely terrifying to think about, and I've heard nothing there and hope that one's fake.

I can say the same for the magic of my universe and this one. Yet, somehow, everything I attempt to do here is tied to the amount of Chroma I possess.

What concerns you about it?

Cannibalism or something else? Zombies, even, if that's a term that exists in your world.

Then they have some line of morality or they wouldn't care about children that aren't theirs. It's not much comfort, given our circumstances, but it is something.

I was combing through and another Moonblessed claimed to have lost their genitalia. If it's a side effect any of us could experience we should know about it.

I actually have shapeshifting abilities, so does the Moonblessing suppress or limit that somehow? Feels like losing a bit of yourself, in a way.

Cannibalism, yes zombies, and things like Bodaks create more Bodaks if they kill with their gaze.

I think I'd rather know if they were rescuing kids, or if kids just weren't showing up in the first place. Though that does leave the question of what's pulling us her being intelligent enough to discern age.

I'm just not going to think too hard about that last one.

Suppression is possible. Limiting our capabilities would be a practical thing for the Prismals to do.
You'll have to excuse my assumptions, but I do assume that they are in control in some way.

Right now, with what I know, there's no way to test the claim so it can't be removed from the range of possibilities.

The truth of how we're arriving... That'd be worth a good investigation or three. Problem is where to start looking.

It's weird being in a city so big that my typical methods of info-gathering are borderline useless.

Then we'll hold it there until either of us can prove one way or the other.

The source? The top of the Prismal food chain. Who is in charge and what do they know about all of this? That's as good a place as any.
How would you normally go about it?

If we go with that, the first question is of who's at the top knows - and if they're willing to tell. But starting with figuring out how to get an audience with them would be a sensible start.

At which point it's basically a matter of tracing the chain down and up. But, it'd be easier to do once I'm more established in the city - the more natural-seeming the key information reaching me seems, the easier it is to grease the right social wheels.
