I've spoken with half a dozen Prismals and counting, yet none can tell me the following with any certainty.

- Why they can't produce Chroma for themselves.
- Why those brought from outside Prismatica can.
- How Moonlacing functions at its core.

If anyone else, perhaps not a local, has information please share it.

I can't answer the first two, but isn't moonlacing just a type of energy exchange? Many cultures have such things and relate them to sex easily. I feel like I read something once that was about gaining immortality through taking ki from someone during sexual intercourse.

As for changes, I have gained cat ears and a tail.
Undeath sounds like something from a horror story.

Definitely not. But, I suppose you could if you have traits of an animal that has something else going on.

Sex, in my universe, is more a sharing of energy than an exchange. It's for pleasure and procreation rather than what you've detailed.
They explained Moonlacing as one gaining energy from intimate contact. It would stand to reason that both participants would receive and then this Chroma that's created is their currency, isn't it?

Do you gain those changes during the moon phase as well?
It does.
Then it's part of being a Moonblessed?

I can't really say a lot for here, I was mostly just saying what I have read before. Back home sex is more like what you said, for having kids, to feel good with someone you're attracted to. Well, I suppose there's a lot of different things.... Not that I know much about any of them.

There are a lot of different reasons for sex. But it clarifies one misunderstanding I had about Moonlacing and Chroma, so thank you.

It appears to be a part of his phase. Another theorizes that he lost his genitalia due to changing into a bird because birds don't, in fact, have penises. In a strange way, it makes sense.

I'm not really sure. I've gotten hungry and wanted to eat more than I usually would. But, I haven't been here vary long.

Aren't goblins alive? So I guess ghouls. Or, some other dead thing summoned back to life.

That would make sense. Someone else had something similar because of having fish characteristics.

If these cycles influence our hormones then increased or decreased appetite would be understandable.

How long have you been here?

Hormones can do such a thing? How interesting. You still have to be careful though, it's easy to get sick anyway.

I feel like there must be quite a lot here. But then, even if you aren't properly undead, there are people who have been dead here living properly.

About two months.

They can do more than that. Alter body temperature, affect personality, and so on.
Try not to over indulge too much or find filling foods when your appetite is changed.
Which is hard advice to follow when you're in that state but it's never a good experience afterwards.

I don't like filling foods anyway. And even with the increased appetite I'm more likely to throw up if I indulge it.

I don't know about dying here. But there are people who died where they are originally from, and have ended up here alive. I know such a person. Though, I don't know if she has experienced her death yet or not. I did see others mention having experienced theirs though.
