[ The woman looking to the camera has probably been through worse. She looks like there's some powdered sugar on her nose, her glasses are askew, and her sweater definitely has some chocolate smudges, but hey... at least her rabbit ears are fine? At the very least, she looks determined, like the utter mess behind her isn't fazing her in the slightest. ]
There are others here who celebrate by making their gifts, aren't there? Whether it be Firialia or Starlight or - anything, really. Since we're all ushered away here... or, well - supposed to be? Is anyone truly braving that icy tundra? - either way, since many of us are here, perhaps it'd be helpful to make gifts together.
I imagine those who have just appeared here may not have much in the way of Chroma to buy anything if they have someone close to them here, and there are some of us who are doubtless better with our hands than finances. The villa I managed to rent is far too big for just two people, so I've no problem having a few over if one wishes not to craft alone.
I'm not stepping out into that snow if I can help it. [ She grimaces. ] It's simply not good weather for a desert-dweller.

i've been here about a moon
others have been here many moons
though that means something different here since they have three

You have not been here long, then, yet certainly longer than I have been. Although a courteous man upon mine arrival did explain things as they were for me. I have had adequate time to reluctantly accept the concept of their moons. Although I must needs inquire—are the moons and their respective cycles as horrid as they sound?

i belong to the "iris" moon if i remember correctly
the last time i had a rabbit's tail and feathery wings
it wasn't very bad at all

suppose?

that explains quite a few things actually

I see. That is unfortunate. I suppose it better to be aware of it. I had hoped it was exaggerated, in truth.

i understand that you may prefer to not disclose it
but i don't think you have much to fear

were you able to secure a place for yourself here away from the city?

Most unfortunate timing on mine part, it would seem.

i arrived as prismals and moonblessed, children included!! were being kidnapped and put under the control of some sort of sorcerer
and before then i heard there were some dragged off into a stream?
no rest for the wicked i suppose

I suppose the only upside is that if anyone was anticipating a rather dull stay, they will certainly caught unawares. Although I confess that the thought of such happenstance is troublesome, at best. Is this kind of thing a common occurrence?

i would like to say no
however the pattern i've heard of says yes

[She doesn't need a voice to properly convey the sarcasm in that response, she's sure.]
At least I shall not be suffering in mine solitude. Misery does so love company.

at the very least we can stick together
i'm grateful we're given so much kindness from the prismals but
it is different to be able to speak to others who are displaced

i think that's only possible of ourselves
but i've been told they rely on us often
it would be in their best interest to keep our favor

i don't think it's fully one or the other truth be told
i would like to believe the best of them
either way we benefit from them

And they from us. If it equates, then I suppose that is the only thing that truly matters. I pray that such a fruitful relationship betwixt our peoples will continue as it has.
[Because alliances have a way of turning sour with time.]

but work it seems many of us are capable of doing
[ She wants to say that if she comes from Ishgard she probably has a good head for diplomacy - Twelve know that Allumette wouldn't have lasted a day if she hadn't had a literal princess telling her to cool her head, if anyone was able to live there, they had to know something about biting their tongue - but that's... is that overstepping?
Probably. ]
are you any good at the camera with this... thing?

[There's a particular pause with Allumette's question, though...]
I am remotely familiar with how it works. I have not utilised it much mineself except for testing purpose.

if you are going to be outside i was wondering
perhaps you might be able to take a picture or two?
i dont LIKE the cold but even i can admit its pretty
of course i understand if you would say no
i thought i might ask anyhow

[For one reason or another, Perne is utterly charmed by the prospect. She could, of course, be misreading what her Viera companion is getting at, but...
She never really has been good with people, though. Or interpretations, evidently.]
