[ Yuzuriha doesn't hide the fact that she's in a sour mood this evening, trying to smile and then swiftly giving that up. ] I absolutely hate not being able to get any good sleep. These days I keep having the same few dreams and at first it was all fine and dandy, I could just act like it never happened, but lately they're really trying to dig at me...

[ There's a moment where she looks away from the screen, a little miffed, and then it becomes evident that she's struck with something -- anyone familiar may know this as Yuzuriha's "brain blast". ]

Someone must've put a curse on me! I mean, it'd make sense after because I -- [ Have already made enemies? That's just one dude and she doesn't pay attention to the rest. ] just attract those kinds of people. It's so hard to live when you're just the ideal girl... [ Queue a dramatic sigh, the back of her hand being placed against her forehead as she leans against her couch. ]

All jokes aside I'm bored and would reaaaaaaaaaally love some company right now. Especially since I doubt I'll be sleeping anytime soon, so! [ She clasps her hands together, now focusing in on the camera with a wide grin. ] What kind of dreams wake y'all up in a fuss?

it's a bunch of creep crawlies trying to get all over me
like butterflies with human faces, huge centipedes that eat flesh...
sometimes it's like i can feel them across my skin and i wake up with goosebumps all over!

i doubt it.
not to sound like a pessimistic or anything but i've learned in life that some things just kinda stick with you through thick and thin. you might think you've got it wiped from memory and then it comes to bite you in the ass and whatever.
i just so happened to have been trapped on an island with gross creatures like that and now the image is just stuck!
but who knows, maybe i can find something that'll help me out.

Hey, I didn't say I was cursed. It might just be a rumour, but there's been a bunch of weird deaths lately... They say men who cheat on their partners get cursed.

it was a trading ship, i was accompanying a man with a group of others as guards since he was apparently a pretty important guy??
i was supposed to just sit and look pretty but then the ship crashed and we washed up on that terrible island!

i was still there when i was brought here

[ Some time after eight Yuzuriha arrives at the mentioned bar. Not dressed in anything fancy, but she is dressed as if she were going on a date -- particularly one where she doesn't expect to pay for anything.

Black hair, pink shirt... he doesn't exactly stand out but she finds him easily enough. ]

Hey! You're the guy from the network, right? Uh.... [ He never gave her his NAME. ]

[Vincent hasn't dressed up for the occasion at all, but he did try to make himself look a little less scruffy and a little more well-groomed, and even put on some cologne to cover the smell of cigarette smoke that tends to cling to him.

It's not a date, he's telling himself, but there's also part of him that likes the idea of being able to start over here. So what if his relationships are a mess back home? Maybe he can forget about it, even if only for a little while.

When she catches his eye from his seat by the window, he nods and waves her over.]

Yeah, that's me. Vincent. [He's trying not to make it obvious that he's checking her out, but she does look good.] Can I get you anything?

Vincent! I'm Yuzuriha. [ She takes a seat beside him, lips curled into a grin as she situates herself into her seat. ]

A cosmo would be great. [ Something fruity. She can't just go in swinging and start chugging heavier drinks right off the bat... Yuzuriha's gotta see if Vincent's an easy man to rob!

Yuzuriha places an elbow on the bar, resting her chin against her palm. ]

Thanks for asking me out, it's actually been a quick minute since I've had a drink.

[He turns to the bartender, and orders her cosmo, and a rum and coke for himself. And yeah, he did offer, so he won't complain about paying.

While the cocktails are prepared, he looks back at her. He's trying not to stare too much, or at least not in an obvious way, but she is easy on the eyes, moreso the longer he looks.]

Don't worry about it. Anyone would need a drink after the shit you went through.
