[Kirishima is fine with waiting. He's sitting in the sand when Inosuke comes flying in like a bat out of hell, swinging his swords around like he doesn't care who or what he might strike with them. He's an interesting guy, for sure...Kirishima can tell a bit easier now that he's seeing him in person that he's maybe? wearing a boar's head and isn't like...a boar-headed person, but with how many animal-headed people come from his world, he can't tell 100% from this distance.

It doesn't matter now, that part is none of his business. He gets up from the sand, dusting himself off before bashing hardened fists together.]

Kirishima smirks, taking a deep breath of his own before he plunges into the water after Inosuke, crossing his legs Indian-style as he hardens the rest of his body so he'll sink more easily to the bottom of the shallows. It's...probably a bit alarming, actually? Normal people don't just sink like that after all, but here Kirishima is having struck the sand long before Inosuke, even though he went under first.]

<sub>[ In the midst of plunging down into the water, Inosuke feels himself losing his boar head, but he doesn't even bother chasing after it!! Not now, anyway, not when he's challenging another person. The ocean is salty water so he doesn't dare open his eyes either, so he doesn't know what is going on.

It's hard to tell how time passes, but given Inosuke's fighting revolves around breathing, he's skilled at holding his breath too. It's an impressive amount, nearly ten minutes before the other teen surfaces, taking in a gasp of air and shaking out his raven and blue streaked hair.

Assuming he beat Kirishima, be points his finger at a random direction, nowhere near Kirishima, eyes still squeezed shut. ]</sub>
