The opening of the museum here is enormously exciting, but it also has me thinking about museums at home.

I know there are exhibits about me in at least a few museums - I've never been to see one, because it feels vaguely egotistical to attend an exhibit about yourself? But I've always wondered what sort of things they have to say about me. What parts of my life are worth putting on display for the public.

If there were a museum dedicated to you, what do you suppose would be on exhibit?

[ hm!! an interesting question. ]

In this premise, is the exhibit based on my life as it is now? Or on how I presume I will be remembered in the future, when I will undoubtedly have many more accomplishments to my name?

Considering my own circumstances, I've always found this line of thinking remarkably self-indulgent.

[ The fact that she'd go down in history for something has always been something she just accepted, because well, queen. ]

I've heard they do have some kind of shrine for me or something in one of the other countries.

Frankly, the while thing gives me the creeps.

You sure about that? You know, some authors get some pretty extreme fans.

Well, at least we can be pretty sure we don't have anything like that in this world.

Probably.

That's for sure.

I guess it probably depends on what you're known for, though.

I'm a 'Hero'. The job title, not the ego trip. The nutshell version is that world summons people from other worlds, gives them powers and sends them off to fight monsters.

[Well this question hits a little too close to home with what she knows about her future.]

I don't want a museum or a monument or anything. Living on in my friend's memories is enough for me.

I would rather there be monuments to those we've lost, honestly. My story is still going - they're the ones that need to be rememebred.

Honestly, I'd cringe at a museum dedicated to me.

On that note: I beg that they never open a Moonblessed museum in the near or far future.

OBVIOUSLY, it'd be dedicated to all my supervillainous exploits! Like that time I robbed a different museum! And definitely stole a lot of cool magical artifacts, and not just one that I'm still trying to figure out what to do with!

And then I'd rob the new museum too!!

[ just because he's a chuuni doesn't mean his powers aren't real okay!! ]

.........They could open a third one?

Look, at that point they'd probably be begging me to rob them!! I can't say no to my ADORING PUBLIC!

But if they wanted me to stop I'd do that too!!
