The opening of the museum here is enormously exciting, but it also has me thinking about museums at home.
I know there are exhibits about me in at least a few museums - I've never been to see one, because it feels vaguely egotistical to attend an exhibit about yourself? But I've always wondered what sort of things they have to say about me. What parts of my life are worth putting on display for the public.
If there were a museum dedicated to you, what do you suppose would be on exhibit?

In this premise, is the exhibit based on my life as it is now? Or on how I presume I will be remembered in the future, when I will undoubtedly have many more accomplishments to my name?

There would be a detailed history of the Aegir lineage and our territory, of course; and I would like to imagine that there would be a selection of my finest writings, both legal treatises and personal letters and poems to those I love.
[ Because surely no one will throw those away!! ]
I have already had several very nice portraits commissioned throughout my life thus far, but I am certain there will be others in the future, so visitors can see how I appeared at different points throughout my life. Perhaps there would be a room dedicated to the period embodied by each! There will likely be artistic renderings of my actions and contributions to history as well, perhaps in wood carvings and sculpture as well as paint!
Artifacts like the armor I wore to a particularly historic battle, or the shoes of my favored horse, could also be on display. Children would especially be interested in my horses, I think, so a section focused on them would help make the exhibit enjoyable for the whole family.

I don't want a museum or a monument or anything. Living on in my friend's memories is enough for me.

On that note: I beg that they never open a Moonblessed museum in the near or far future.

And then I'd rob the new museum too!!

If you robbed the new museum, then it couldn't properly show off how cool you are.

Probably War stories, or scenes about the civil war that came later, or fending off an invasion. I've got some... grandiose people who care about me, so I'm sure the displays would be a lot more ostentatious than I might prefer.

I've never had an exhibition in a museum, exactly, but there have been exhibitions centered around the idol unit I'm a part of. The outfits I've worn in shows and props I've used have been on display for the public to see, but since the focus is always on concerts and not me as a person, it doesn't sound nearly as personal as what you're describing.
I was invited to walk through before they opened and enjoyed them a lot, but I'd be too concerned about being recognized to attend otherwise... Your situation sounds much different, though.

[But that looks like a Japanese name and Japanese idol culture, so maybe...]
I can imagine you'd be mobbed by fans if you went normally.

well, he should probably get a little more used to being vaguely in the ballpark of honest about this, all things considered...]
I believe a collection of statues and writings would be most likely. Perhaps a weapon or two, as well. Truthfully, it's a little embarrassing to think about, though.

I don't think I could handle a statue of myself. I'd die again out of sheer embarrassment.
Weapons are a thought, though.
