The opening of the museum here is enormously exciting, but it also has me thinking about museums at home.

I know there are exhibits about me in at least a few museums - I've never been to see one, because it feels vaguely egotistical to attend an exhibit about yourself? But I've always wondered what sort of things they have to say about me. What parts of my life are worth putting on display for the public.

If there were a museum dedicated to you, what do you suppose would be on exhibit?

Not really. I've always been sick, so I already knew I was going to die young even before it happened.

That's still sad to think about... I don't know if I could accept my life ending like that.

Not that I'm saying you shouldn't! That's just my view on it, but I've always been a very active person and, well, something of a hero back home. Formerly, anyway.

How does one become a former hero?

Mostly by retiring. Actually I stepped down from my position with the Pact and became a guild leader instead. It's a lot more desk work and a lot less running into every possible dangerous situation imaginable.

Sounds no less important, but a lot more like something I'd like to do.

It's been an adjustment, but yes, it is important work. I wasn't going to leave Tyria high and dry just because I'm tired and don't have the energy to trek all over like I used to.

Even when I was young, I don't think I had the energy for that.

I've always been something of a wild child.

You sound like some of my students.

I'm not like that anymore! I'm 25 now!

[She's practically a den mother now.]

That wasn't an insult? I'm very fond of my students and hope they all have now grown into wonderful adults.

Well that's good!

I don't know if I've grown into a -wonderful- adult, but I'd like to think I'm decent enough.

You seem like a pretty good one to me.

I know for a fact that my enemies would absolutely disagree, but I suppose they don't count, do they?

That's part of why they're enemies, yes.

It's alright, we've all been there.

I like to think I'm smart enough for most things but I suppose everyone has their absolutely mornic moments sometimes.

I can promise you that's true. I'm a teacher and I'm still made to feel foolish by my students sometimes.

I did mentor for a while so I've been in that position, too.

Though "proving me wrong by making the shortest path from point A to point B" and nearly getting yourself killed in the process is not exactly how I imagine your students go about it...

Thankfully none of my students have given me heart attacks yet. So far.

Students in a classroom tend to be less adventure prone than students of a shadow organization.

Normally that would be true, but when it's a classroom in Lunatia...

It's certainly more exciting than the last school I taught at.
