(She is less subtle, by far, than a certain other lady from her world. Maybe she should be more careful, but why? This is fun. The Dothraki have rubbed off on her. No, get your mind out of the gutter. Not like that for a long time at least.)

Well, yes and no. Guess it's mostly no. It's not by choice. Didn't have a whole lot of time for that stuff, before. Was never really meant for... [Uh nope, stopping herself right there. Pause.] Just... no time. But, there's lots of time now. Needed that time to sort things out.

(It really is a shame she can't see her face. Daenerys is quiet for a moment and then she hums.)

It took me awhile to grow accustomed to it. For something supposedly "natural", it feels...complicated.

(Especially if your partner isn't patient.)

[She takes those words in stride. There have been only a few people Rey has spoken to about this. If it helps, in a way, she hasn't figured it out yet.]

Don't know. There was... someone, before here. But things were also complicated with her.

Think it would be easier, with someone trustworthy -- a... friend. [If she even has one of those. Pretty sure she does.] Don't know. The thing about not thinking about these things much before, is that there's been almost too much time to think of them now.

You might be thinking about it too much. (That too can be a problem.) Why not invite an acquaintance to your home for a drink? Once you are relaxed, you can broach the subject - or not. Either way you can spend the evening with a friend.

He has a keen sense of people. (And she pays attention to his judgement.) I don't think he would raise a single fuss if you visited unexpectedly.

Not sure. Never thought about them much. [She scoffs.] Was always compared to the salamander, frankly -- the fire elemental, that is. Think "the Dragon" would have made a better nickname.

Dragons are beautiful. Salamanders... (She frowns, nose wrinkling.) are more...cute, aren't they?

Real salamanders sort of are, yeah. The occult version varies. [Rey might have looked them up at one point for the sake of her own curiosity.] Some described them as being more devil-like, or a bird, or a dog with wings. No matter what dumbass form they looked, they were always connected to fire in some way. Made out of flames, immune to burning, sleeps in embers...

So the moniker wasn't entirely unfounded.

I sort of wish I could see one that looks like a devil or a dog with wings. (They can live with her too, it's fine.) They sound like the best companion for a dragon.
