(She is less subtle, by far, than a certain other lady from her world. Maybe she should be more careful, but why? This is fun. The Dothraki have rubbed off on her. No, get your mind out of the gutter. Not like that for a long time at least.)

Funny thing about that, actually. When I find a new partner under Iris's influence, it's almost always someone I've found and talked with already. Maybe we've only spoken a couple times, but I at least know their name and who they are. Never hopped into bed with a stranger even when my bunny instincts are going wild.

[Heh. "Hopped".]

Course, I've got a pretty wide swath of people I consider friends, so that's not as narrow a field as it might sound. And... somehow I've become really okay with that. As long as they're okay with what's happening, relaxed, and can have a sense of humor about the whole thing, we're good. The last one's important because, let's face it, this whole thing is a little ridiculous.

Rabbits are rather enthusiastic about mating, I've heard. (Whereas her serpentine and/or dragon instincts are more about power and control. ~~As well as seeing blood but she ignores that aspect.~~)

I agree entirely. (She raises her wine glass to that sentiment.) I don't take myself too seriously and if I can laugh when it's over with a partner or a friend then I see no reason to worry about it.

Whether they usually are or not, Iris definitely leans on that hard. Not that it's changed much since I started getting swan wings too. [Definitely not complaining about those though. Wings are awesome.]

Exactly! I know this is a serious issue for a lot of people, heck it was for me before I came here, but after a certain point you just have to see the funny side about all this moon nonsense. Besides, a bit of laughter helps me relax, and that makes things go a lot easier. It's a lot easier to keep control of yourself when you aren't stressed out so much you feel like you're gonna explode.

Please tell me you are not taking after both animals at once? (But a rabbit with wings sounds...cute. And soft.) Are you able to fly? There is nothing like it.

The Dothraki gave me a lighter perception of sex. They are as free as the horses they herd. When the inclination strikes them - and they are not otherwise occupied - they give into it.

I was horrified when I first saw them. (But now? She gives a small smile.) Stress makes it especially difficult for us women.

Only slightly. Rabbit ears and tail, swan wings. And yes, I can fly with them, though I need a bit of a boost to get started. [Thank goodness she knows wind magic.]

They kind of sound like the Prismals. I guess the attitude just kind of rubs off eventually. We weren't super strict about it back where I came from, but we weren't anything like them either, and my dad was... protective.

You must be adorable. (The strong urge to pet the ears (and wings) and snuggle is almost too hard to resist!)

A good father would be protective. (Not that the Targaryens have any experience with good fathers or mothers for that matter.) It is quite different to see it done before you without any...shame? Or attempt to hide?

Oh yeah, I'm with you on that one completely. I'm not... ashamed, exactly, or even really embarrassed, but I do want my privacy.

Course, sometimes the heat's strong enough that I stop caring, but I've gotten pretty good at forcing myself to find a secluded spot at least.

I can't deny that. (Kairi has such a sweet face and personality. Adorable is very fitting for her.)

You deserve to not be a spectacle. No one in Lunatia strikes me as kin to my Dothraki. Any pleasure they derived out of seeing you...like that...would be at your expense.

(And someone would pay for that.)

The heat is impossible to ignore or control. But underneath it all, we have to remember that we are ourselves and that, in the morning, we don't want to be filled with regrets.

I'd like to think the Lunatians aren't... like that. Most of them, anyway.

Yeah, no regrets so far. A little bit of awkwardness, but once you get over that you usually have a good story. If one you don't tell all of.
