hi everybody!!

so, i was wondering... there's a lot of magic and stuff like that here, right? well, one of my friends is trying to finally ease their way into finally getting used to that sort of stuff (￣･ω･￣)

they have had bad experiences in the past and it's kind of ruined their experience to the point where they have issues!

so i want to help them!

unfortunately i don't have powers myself so i can't exactly do much and i don't want to exactly out myself, either (〃´∀｀)

but does anybody have any ideas on what would be a good idea to help them out? nothing too over the top or scary, though... or like, forceful! that would be EXTREMELY BAD!!

she's had bad experiences with healing and healers.

although saying it like that without explaining anything makes it sound like there's a 'trick' to it...

And then something clicked. Didn't she initially have this trouble with someone? And then that sharp answer.

Yeah, that problem was about her.

And then who else would have a bad encounter with a healer?

Inaba. They were talking about Inaba.

She'd been in disadvantage from the start and that declaration had just made it worse.

Magic is kinda like physics. You might not be able to 'see' it, but if you apply it the same way, it works the exact same time. The only 'trick' might be how I cast it, but even those have rules.

is it like that for all types of magic?

i'm not sure if you're talking about this world's magic or your own world's... because i think they might be different.

and even so, i don't know the rules either, so...

i wouldn't be able to explain it to my friend very well if she wasn't aware of them...she kind of likes knowing everything? or as much information as possible?

I have largely been talking about my own. It's the only type I know how to heal with.

I have been looking into the magic native to here! I attended school here for a time, but due to work and other interests, I started studying on my own. It's weird, and it indeed is different from the magic of my own world. But the magic we are capable of casting seems consistent. Now if only this moon blessing business was the same way...

[ She could imagine Inaba being driven for a full loop during the moons. If her inability to trust what she couldn't understand was the root of why she feared magic, to the point where she'd refused help even while ailing of it, then... ]

Digging into how everything works is sometimes the only power you have.

I ask your friend [ She actually considered typing out Inaba here, but thought better of it. ] to at least consider looking into classes or a few books, understanding seems like the best way to alleviate fears. But still, take it slowly!

[ That last part is almost as much for herself as it is for this "anonymous". ]

i don't know if she'll be able to get rid of it entirely because her experiences are bad, but

at the very least, she's trying her best!

even if i don't know if it'll be good enough.
