[Don is newly not furry but he's also looking annoyed and angry. His normally pristine features are grim. He's human - back to his handsome self but his hair hangs over his features and he's aggressively smoking a cigarette.]

So apparently I spend Sanguis as a bear thing. I know there's another fucking moon coming and I don't know what else is going to happen.

For the people who end up furry, you what - shave? And How do you handle clothing. Somebody ought to write a fucking book on this and let me publish it.

[He exhales smoke before taking another long drag on cigarette.]

And I'm not normally this open about this kind of thing but I need to moonlace. Bad. I'll buy you dinner and drinks. Or owe you in this case.

[He mutters something like takes all of the fun out of this before he sighs, leaning back and trying to relax.]

Maybe in my world.

[His features are sincere] He saw her playing in a field and fell in love with her. So he kidnapped her and tricked her into eating six pomegranate seeds so she had to spend 6 months with him which is why my car freezes up in the winter and gets Bobby sick.And when I was a kid I used to sit with the horses to keep them warm.

[Bobby gets sick a lot. Poor little guy.]

But the other six months she gets free and there's spring and summer and fall.

[he shrugs] If it makes you feel any better my world's Persephone has a loyal husband. I mean like he kidnapped her but he's uh-

That sounds aweful.

[ She can't imagine her Hades doing anything like that. Then again, maybe if it was framed like she had no choice she could get out of her obligations with the Goddesses of Eternal Maidenhood. Her mother would be furious though... ]

He is certainly better than his brothers. So I suppose it's nice to hear that even in another world where he does something so terrible he's loyal.

Ordinarily I'd call Zeus a freak cause didn't he turn into a swan and -

yeah. I mean you're all technically...related? working together I shouldn't speak ill of your family I'm sorry. It's just a bit of a shock. My aunt used to read stories like that.]

He'd smite you if he heard you say such things, but I've heard similar rumors...

We're only related in so far that my mother was one of the Six Traitors.

The Six Traitors Dynasty is made up of the six gods that overthrew Cronus; Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hera, Hestia, and Demeter.

[Mythology was the equivalent of television for him - but he barely remembers them so Cronus gets a blank look.]

Some kind of terrible king? Good for them. That's how you do it, taking out terrible leaders like that.

How do your roommates respond to out of control plant growth?

That is a bit reductionist but accurate.

I've been lucky enough to have a place to myself.

What do you do for work?

[Because, he would like very much to be by himself or at least not around others if being large and furry is going to be a regular thing.

Or snakelike.

Or god. A fish?

He should go over the pamphlets again. The stress that crosses his face is clear.]

I'm currently working part-time at a plant nursery.

...I could use a plant.

What would you recommend?

That would depend on what kind of plant you'd like to have around and how much time you want to spend caring for it. Even nonflowering plants can be pretty colorful if that's what you're looking for.

Something with flowers?

Peace lilies might be good if you're looking to keep something indoors and don't want to worry too much about caring for it. Most flowering plants tend to be a little more difficult to care for and do better outdoors in the ground.
