Through curiosity both morbid and not - what were you in the middle of before bring brought here, and how urgent do you consider returning to it?

Just going by the way things have been around here lately, I won't precisely be surprised if answers trend towards "having a crisis", "dying horribly", or "watching someone else die horribly"; even so, it isn't as though I'm going to judge for such things either way.

It turned into a game of survival and destroying those in one's way of it a long time ago, yes.

It isn't really deserving of either sympathy or pity. It's simply the way of things.

I do, of course. And I'm doing what I can to bring that sort of change about. It's just something of a complicated matter, I suppose.

When things have long since been a certain way, especially for a reason so inane as "it's just the way things are", it's difficult to see it as being anything other than normal. Even if it's the sort of normalcy that needs to change.

I understand, most worlds work like that but as long as people don't stop trying to make things better then they're fine. It is when people lose all hope that one must worry for the state of the world.

Whether it's actually founded or not in my world's case has yet to be seen, but there is almost an absurd amount of hope going for it either way. So we're not at that point yet.
