I've been thinking lately that the real stars over here at Beans! could use some more internet exposure, what do you think?

We're located on level two of Lunatia and are a combination cat cafe and animal shelter — a place where you can come to spend time, enjoy a drink, play with our cats, and maybe even take a new furry friend home with you when you go.

Haha, it wouldn't surprise me! She's a real handful, though, so she'll definitely keep her new owner on their toes, whenever she gets adopted.

I'm fine with the cats, but deep down I'm a dog person through and through, you know that!

Same, so I can't really get in the mind of a cat-owner, but they seem to like troublesome behavior! I guess it's the same as a dog tearing apart a toy?
But I'm a sucker. A dog could do anything and I'd let them.

Hmm, well. Speaking as someone who's around cats all the time these days, I think it's that dogs are pretty...you know, they wear their heart on their sleeve. And they really don't have a middle setting, they're just really enthusiastic about everything all the time.

Cats are a little more balanced, I think, and I guess some people like that!

I definitely can see it that way. Although I don't think I could pin people as I meet them as "dog people" or "cat people". I figure we're all pretty similar.

You're pretty on the money. The golden I had as a kid I'd call more even than most dogs, but he still was more a 10 than a 5 in exuberance.

Arnold was that way, too, as a puppy. He mellowed out a lot as he got older, but I know a lot of dogs are like that.

You know if we ever branch out into dogs, you're the first call on my list, right?

How old is he, by the way? I realized that I never asked.

You're killing me, Reimi. Even now, I'm not sure I could handle taking care of one so I'd rather not risk the possibility of being inattentive to an animal.
It would be an absolute dream come true for someone like me, who travels nonstop and barely gets back home.

Arnold? Hmmm. I think I was about ten or so when I got him, maybe a little younger. So yeah, he's definitely not a puppy! That would've made him six when we died.

Yeah, but you don't travel nonstop here, right?

Yeah that's a full-grown dog.

And I don't really travel since it's not available to us the same way? I guess. I'm not sure how much I'd do even if it was.

I mean, it's not OKAY, but if it still bothered me, I wouldn't talk about it. After sixteen years of being a ghost you sort of come to terms with being dead, I guess.

That's what we really are, I guess I should clarify. Ghosts! Arnold and me.

So, in reality, you're not that much younger than I am, are you?

I'm still sorry, Reimi. Thanks for trusting me with that information. Doesn't change anything between us, of course. Except I might have to buy you a drink now.

I guess the other thing I should tell you, just so that something like this doesn't happen again, is that — we were murdered, Arnold and I.

That's the reason we stayed around all that time. I wouldn't leave until that person was found and brought to justice, so that my hometown wasn't in danger anymore. And my friends helped me with that. So...right before we went to heaven, that's when Arnold and I turned up here.

That's the rest of what I wanted you to know.
