I've been thinking lately that the real stars over here at Beans! could use some more internet exposure, what do you think?

If you haven't yet paid a visit to Beans! Cat Cafe, please consider giving us a try! We're located on level two of Lunatia and are a combination cat cafe and animal shelter — a place where you can come to spend time, enjoy a drink, play with our cats, and maybe even take a new furry friend home with you when you go.

Who knows? Maybe YOUR favorite cat will be best (or worst) cat of the week next!

Oh, um...to tell you the truth, I hadn't really thought that much about it! But one of my volunteers at the cafe did something like this once — made a little account for one of our cats and then pretended to be him, talking to people.

I thought it was a really cute way of getting more people interested in maybe adopting our cats, so...

But yeah! All our cats are up for adoption, actually. Part of our work is helping to rehabilitate them so that they can find good homes.

Haha, it wouldn't surprise me! She's a real handful, though, so she'll definitely keep her new owner on their toes, whenever she gets adopted.

I don't know if I'd call Moonlight the worst. Kotatsu used to do stuff like that when he was stressed out or frustrated. It's hard when you can't speak your mind and people don't understand what you're saying.

I still need to come to the cafe. I don't know why I haven't yet.

Aw, it's mostly just a joke, you know? I'm not really mad at her or anything, it's just kind of exasperating.

You definitely should! We love new friends, and so do our cats!

[Ashe didn't know there could be a place where you could eat and adopt a cat too! How did he miss that? He knew what place he would visit when he had some free time next week. He didn't get a chance to pet many cats here like he did back home and he missed it.]

Merlin is such a beautiful cat. Will they be there at the cafe? I'd love to pet them.

Oh, yeah, Merlin is definitely one of our regulars! He's really sweet, too. When we first got him he was pretty introverted and spent a lot of his time hiding, but a lot of patience and some kindness from the cafe guests is really bringing him out of his shell. He's a big lump lately!

Sure! We're open to the public. I mean, you do have to rent table time if you're just coming in as a customer, but we have a few people who volunteer with us to help socialize the cats and take care of them, too.

So I guess, there are options depending on what you're really interested in!
