Exciting times, aren't they? I have to say all this idol hype is a little nostalgic. Even if I usually worked with independent groups, I do know a few pro idols back home! It's a tough life, but some people might say the reward is worth it.

With that said, though, I'm always interested to hear about the music industry in other worlds. What's popular where you come from? Or maybe more importantly, what's it like there? I know some of you come from some pretty different places, like that world where rap battles are a little more literal than most. That still throws me a little, but it sounds exciting, too, doesn't it?

Even if you're not in the music industry yourself, I'm sure you have a couple stories.

That is alright. It is not a particularly sore subject, just one that is difficult to go into.

Hmm... Sometimes I just don't see little things like that, so it isn't your fault. I mean, there are times that I mess up my paperwork, even now.

Tone is difficult to read over these devices, as well.

That's true, too. The whole world is online, so you'd think we'd know how to deal with these things.

Is it really so prevalent where you come from? I am still adjusting to the technology level here.

It's not quite as advanced as here in some ways, but in others, definitely. And don't worry, I'm the type who only uses the basic functions of anything myself, too. It took me three hours to figure out how to get my printer to fax once.

The last time I tried to take a picture with this device it came out upside down. The learning curve is a steep one indeed.

I once tried to let one of my clients explain Instagramming your food, and there were so many unspoken rules to make it look perfect in the photo... I guess I'll never really get it all.

This may be naive, but why would one not simply eat your food?

That's what I want to know too, but for some people it's an important social activity, I guess.
