isntitsad: Nostalgic smile. (but it's worth it)

Exciting times, aren't they? I have to say all this idol hype is a little nostalgic. Even if I usually worked with independent groups, I do know a few pro idols back home! It's a tough life, but some people might say the reward is worth it.

With that said, though, I'm always interested to hear about the music industry in other worlds. What's popular where you come from? Or maybe more importantly, what's it like there? I know some of you come from some pretty different places, like that world where rap battles are a little more literal than most. That still throws me a little, but it sounds exciting, too, doesn't it?

Even if you're not in the music industry yourself, I'm sure you have a couple stories.

I am less familiar with idols, but may I speak to you of my troupe's musician? A wonderful performer and an essential part of our act.

Sadly, as I think I've discussed before, there's no 'industry' for music - or honestly much of anything else - where I'm from. Just disorganized bards who steal songs from each other.

What's an idol? I'm afraid I don't really know what you mean by "music industry".

It's always a pleasure to meet someone else who works in the music industry. My world seems fairly normal compared to some of the stories I've heard, so I'm not sure where I should start, but I'm actually a professional idol both here and back home.

If you don't mind me asking, what do you do?

I was wondering if this entire business with the idols lately would interest you. It seemed something you would like, judging from our previous discussion.

dont know jack shit about the industry but theres a genre thats gotten more popular these days...think its called "crash-b" or something like that
mostly just loud noise and pretentious lyrics
never got into it

always been more fond of opera personally
got one of those music boxes from the wolf shop to play some of that
