Exciting times, aren't they? I have to say all this idol hype is a little nostalgic. Even if I usually worked with independent groups, I do know a few pro idols back home! It's a tough life, but some people might say the reward is worth it.

With that said, though, I'm always interested to hear about the music industry in other worlds. What's popular where you come from? Or maybe more importantly, what's it like there? I know some of you come from some pretty different places, like that world where rap battles are a little more literal than most. That still throws me a little, but it sounds exciting, too, doesn't it?

Even if you're not in the music industry yourself, I'm sure you have a couple stories.

Oh, I'm no idol! I run a live house -- a live music venue where musicians can practise and perform. Usually independent acts, but we've had the odd idol unit in for events on occasion.

Oh, I think I get it, now.

Sort of like how you'll sometimes see music in bars, only a more general audience. That's pretty cool.

Yes, something like that! My live house, CiRCLE, is a bit more specific since it caters to young girl bands, but there are all kinds of live houses out there supporting all kinds of artists and music.

That's really cool.

Gives everyone an even playing field, that way.

That's the plan! Giving people resources they wouldn't have otherwise.

Does that mean you hold contests here?

[isntitsad]

I haven't yet, but I'm thinking about it! There are a lot of great musicians around here, aren't there?

There are.

I think it'd be pretty fun, just to see what everyone can do.

What about you, do you play?

[sivard]

Nah, not really.

I can manipulate wind, though Maybe I could play a harp or something.

[isntitsad]

You could try! Strings and woodwinds might be a good idea. I imagine it'd take a lot of dexterity, though.

I think I could manage, so long as I learn how to play it. My artes can be pretty handy.

[isntitsad]

That's what you call your abilities in your world?

[sivard]

It is, yes.

I use wind artes.
