How do you live with the future? All of them. How...?

I don't exactly have a choice, daozhang.

All I know is that every future instance that I have seen has happened exactly has I have seen it. And that none of my choices and actions, based on what I saw, were able to change any of them.

But I also know that what I see is only a very partial piece of the future. Sometimes it is useful. Sometimes not. And I cannot rely on knowing what I know to make informed decisions. It's fragmented information at best. Not the whole picture by far.

[ xiao xingchen is silent for a beat or two, he's appreciating the strength moran displays on a daily basis. he would not be able to cope knowing the future, it is not in xiao xingchen's nature to withstand certain things. he's both stronger and frailer than he knows. ]

Then the future is already written for most of us, it is a matter of just travelling to meet it. [ that makes him... sad. melancholic. ]

But you will always try, will you not? No matter what the future is telling you, you will try to
to do better than what it shows you. Right?
