Wha-- n-no! No way! Man, the place I was in before this sucked. It was awful and we barely had enough food to get by on a good day. Plus it wasn't like Luntia - everyone there was from another world like me, we didn't have any locals to help us out. Not everyone could cook, there was a lotta work that had to be done and the forest around us was super dangerous. I just wanted to make sure everyone was fed and had enough strength to get through it all, y'know? I could fight but I figured offerin' food was gonna help more.

[He pauses and looks admittedly bashful, scratching at his cheek.]

I used to be like that, just wantin' people to pay attention to me, but I got over that a longass time ago. When I saw what was happenin' in the village I knew I couldn't just sit back and do nothin'.

Yeah. I was there for a year and a half before I got here.

I mean, I don't mind if people do. Hell I opened up an actual proper restaurant here and people sure as fuck don't need a soup kitchen in this world. I was way more concerned about keepin' people fed and safe.
