video | un: springtime
[the video shows a white rabbit wearing a sunhat with holes that her long ears slip easily into. she's got a bit of dirt smudged on her face, and in the background is a wooden exterior of a shed. there are some saplings behind her too.]
You know, if I was born a large carnivore instead of a small herbivore, I think I'd have started up some kind of brothel here...probably would have made good money in a place like this.
[that. sure is a way to get attention!]
Anyway, I'm only a small carnivore here some of the time, and there already seem to be plenty of those kinds of places. Ever since I arrived here and when the weather started getting nicer, I noticed that we were missing something...
[Haru swaps the camera to face forward, and pans a bit, showing off a relatively sparse, fenced-in lot with a good amount of raised plots of soil and flower beds already started. after a moment of showing off, she switches it back to herself.]
So! I've started up a community garden for...mostly myself honestly, but it's open for anyone else to sign up and use. I was setting up all day yesterday, and it's kind of been slow going. In highschool I managed the gardening club all on my own so I can do this by myself, but if anyone wants to stop by and help I'll treat you to some lunch! I know it's Sanguis right now, so plenty of you are stronger than usual... [she brings her free hand up to rub under her nose, smudging more dirt on her face as she mumbles:] you could probably put that to good use.
Anyway, feel free to stop by, even if it's just to sign up for your own plot of land. If nobody signs up then it's not too bad...it just means more space for me to grow my babies.
[attached to this post is the address, where the community garden is located on a once-vacant lot in Lunatia, Level 2. a sign up sheet is posted on the front door of the shed, and anyone is free to stop by and do their own thing at the gardens for the month of May.]

[hint hint!]
I've been here for a few months, and I still don't know how this place works. So don't sweat it!

I guess I'm in good company. I'm Eiji, by the way.
no subject
even if she does...fall prey to that sometimes.]
I'm Haru! It's good to meet you, Eiji. This is probably going to be one of the more normal things here...things tend to get a bit weird the longer you're here.
no subject
It's nice to meet you too, Haru. I'm guessing that's going to be the case. At least your garden will be that little bit of normalcy.
What's the weirdest thing you've seen, so far?
[ He asks, of a bunny girl. ]
no subject
Exactly. I felt my best when I was gardening in the gardening club. Not that being here is bad, but it'll be nice to have a space like this to come to.
[maybe she should set up a bed in this garden's shed too...hmm.......
nah, maybe not at a place like this. it was different when it was only her in the club.]
Hm... [chin-in-hand...getting more dirt on her white fur.] Kind of hard to choose the weirdest. A statue coming to life and crying enough tears to drown you is something that sticks out, though.
no subject
Huh. Well, that's a new one.
[ But oh no, haru's poor fur ]
Oh, Haru, you got a little bit of dirt there.
[ He doesn't want her to mess it up, okay! He is helpful! ]
no subject
[a shrug! but, at the mention of dirt on her face, her eyes widen a bit and she moves her hand away from her face.]
Oh! Woops, thank you.
[and just going to. lift up her shirt to wipe the dirt off her face because what are boundaries.]
no subject
Your camera is still on, you know...
no subject
Huh...? [...] Oh! Sorry about that. [She tugs her shirt back down, face less dirty at least.] I thought I put an undershirt on this morning...
Anyways I hope to see you around the gardens!
no subject
Yeah, I hope to see you, too. Thanks for putting this together.
