[the video shows a white rabbit wearing a sunhat with holes that her long ears slip easily into. she's got a bit of dirt smudged on her face, and in the background is a wooden exterior of a shed. there are some saplings behind her too.]

You know, if I was born a large carnivore instead of a small herbivore, I think I'd have started up some kind of brothel here...probably would have made good money in a place like this.

[that. sure is a way to get attention!]

Anyway, I'm only a small carnivore here some of the time, and there already seem to be plenty of those kinds of places. Ever since I arrived here and when the weather started getting nicer, I noticed that we were missing something...

[Haru swaps the camera to face forward, and pans a bit, showing off a relatively sparse, fenced-in lot with a good amount of raised plots of soil and flower beds already started. after a moment of showing off, she switches it back to herself.]

So! I've started up a community garden for...mostly myself honestly, but it's open for anyone else to sign up and use. I was setting up all day yesterday, and it's kind of been slow going. In highschool I managed the gardening club all on my own so I can do this by myself, but if anyone wants to stop by and help I'll treat you to some lunch! I know it's Sanguis right now, so plenty of you are stronger than usual... [she brings her free hand up to rub under her nose, smudging more dirt on her face as she mumbles:] you could probably put that to good use.

Anyway, feel free to stop by, even if it's just to sign up for your own plot of land. If nobody signs up then it's not too bad...it just means more space for me to grow my babies.

[attached to this post is the address, where the community garden is located on a once-vacant lot in Lunatia, Level 2. a sign up sheet is posted on the front door of the shed, and anyone is free to stop by and do their own thing at the gardens for the month of May.]

[ Well, he wants to. And this is a good excuse. It's not like he'd hurt Haru, at least. Because it's Haru. ]

They shed. I have no idea what will happen when Sanguis is over. But I'd hate to shed my antlers multiple times a month.

I would like to see you at least. Since you're a friend I can give you a sandwich even if you don't help out with my garden.

Maybe there's someone here who can make you temporary antlers when these horns do drop. I can only imagine how much of a pain it would be. Or maybe there's a way for chroma to quicken their growth?

I went home for a bit. I guess it was only a few days here, though.

[ It's easy to say where he was, but he's...having a hard time gauging how much time has passed between home and here and everything feels kind of strange and unpleasant still. ]

So I went quiet on everyone.

[ Shrugs. ]

Or maybe like everything else here they'll just be grown in the next day.

[ He also has his prosthetic antlers if they don't. ]

You did? [she's not sure what to say about that. because, it was good that he went home, right? but now he's back here. and she's...happy he's back. would it be out of place if she said she was happy he came back?

...hm.]

Well, I'm glad you're back. I'd be pretty upset if you went home and stayed home without taking the rest of us with you.

[which...would be like him, to be honest.]

Was it like what everyone else said? That you don't remember being here?

Yeah. It's exactly like what they said, Haru. I don't remember being here when I was there. It was like.

[ He considers. ]

This place was nothing when I was home. It didn't even feel like I was missing anything. But now that I'm here, my time at home is something very clear.

[ He keeps his tone as cool as normal with that, but there's so much he would rather not think about at home. He still feels as tired as ever. ]

It's only working one way.

[There is still that sad look in his eye when he speaks, one that she's always noticed, but his voice remains its usual calm and cool lilt, so to her she just seems...the Same Old Louis.

though it's hard to tell over video, with his face looking so sheep-like and strange.]

It's not that I didn't believe what others have told me, but it's different hearing it from you...

Strange to think we spend so much time here, but then we just don't remember it...

[a pause]

You're sure you went back and it just wasn't some crazy dream?

[disasdeer]

Because there's no reason to lie about this.

[ It's as simple and straightforward as ever, really. Because even when there's things he doesn't tell her. When there's a lot of things she doesn't know about him and things he has hidden -- there's no reason to lie about the experience that he had returning home and coming back here.
