[ Wen Ning had scrolled upon Wei Wuxian's post entirely by accident since it's not often that he uses the network, finding most of the discussions there beyond him. He was rather surprised by the large response to the post, even more so to the lack of context the responders had and how it led to some rather fierce conversations with his master.

Though he had initially been ready to respond to each and do his best to clarify matters (he could not have people speaking so ill of Young Master Wei when they did not properly know him), the sheer number involved had convinced him that it might be better to make a post of his own. Even though he is nowhere near as good with words as Wei Wuxian.

At least the "voice-to-text" application on his device should make it easy for him to communicate without his usual hangups. It's guard dog time. ]

There is something that must be said.

Young Master Wei only wishes to help me have a fuller life here. To be able to share food and drinks with others. To be like others who received a second chance here.

He is none of the things people here have accused him of. He is a kind person. And I trust him fully.

As he said, I am well. Even though I am not the same as you.

I will not have anyone saying false things about him.

In my world, there are creatures called Undead; immortal beings who were created at the beginning of the world. I've spent many years studying their genetic makeup, learning from it to find ways to replicate their ability to rapidly heal.

I may be able to use that knowledge to find a way to allow your body to start to regenerate itself, as it would if it were still living.

I am sorry for the situation you've found yourself in, but my opinion on the matter hasn't changed. At the very least, your friend could have shown some amount of caution or tact regarding the matter of experimenting on a human being, but he did not. So forgive me for not thinking very highly of him.

He may not always speak carefully. But he cares deeply. More deeply than anyone I know.
