Bonjour, everyone.

This post will be much more light-hearted than my last one. While looking for things to keep me occupied during Sanguis so as to not disturb others, I happened across this book in the “digital library.”




It’s a gripping tale of a Prismal girl and her horse seeking freedom in a world that would hope to suppress them. I don’t want to spoil it, but I did notice that it seems to be a part of a series. If anyone knows where I might find physical copies of the rest of them, please let me know.

Incidentally, it has inspired me to ride again. Where can I find a stable? Or horses, for that matter? I was in the equestrian club in school, so I assure you I am no amateur.

Of course I would! I have finished them all, so I would not mind sharing. Just let me know what method of transfer you are most comfortable with, since they are digital volumes.

And I do have a horse! However, I must summon it in order to show you.

I will have to do research on the transference of digital volumes. I can hardly wait to get my hands on them regardless!

However, when you say “summon,” what in the world do you mean?

Feel free to come over at my apartment whenever you would like the books more quickly. I am not busy at the moment.

[ horses are exciting. going to marie’s apartment seems like a breach of etiquette that he’s not ready for—but she did invite him, and it would maybe be more impolite to say no? he isn’t sure. ]

Then it sounds like we have a réunion planned! Shall I come now? Or would tomorrow be better?

It depends on how eager you are about getting the books and seeing my horse.

[ She's giving him the choice, teasing his level of excitement. ]

[ serge is very eager, enough to forget that he’s technically still under the thrall of the sanguis moon. by this time, though, it surely can’t be that bad. it wouldn’t hurt anyone for him to slip out of his home to pick up some books and see a horse.

right? ]

I have to admit I am very eager. Though the moon hasn’t settled for me just yet…

Would you rather wait? I hope the effects of Sanguis are quelling with the end of the moon cycle.

[ Sanguis is... rather difficult to handle, but she dealt with worse cases, and Serge has been nothing but a soft boy around her. ]

Will your horse be frightened by my appearance?

[ he’s got bear ears. he’s not a monster, as he seems keen to describe himself. ]

Not to worry! My horse is friendly to just about anyone except our enemies.

[ Non specific monsters that definitely don't look as darling as Serge. ]

“Our” enemies? The horse’s as well?

I suppose? The horse serves under me, therefore it would be plausible to consider those who oppose me as a common enemy!
