Bonjour, everyone.
This post will be much more light-hearted than my last one. While looking for things to keep me occupied during Sanguis so as to not disturb others, I happened across this book in the “digital library.”

It’s a gripping tale of a Prismal girl and her horse seeking freedom in a world that would hope to suppress them. I don’t want to spoil it, but I did notice that it seems to be a part of a series. If anyone knows where I might find physical copies of the rest of them, please let me know.
Incidentally, it has inspired me to ride again. Where can I find a stable? Or horses, for that matter? I was in the equestrian club in school, so I assure you I am no amateur.
Bien cordialement,
Serge

[ it’s weird for him to hear someone say they read it as a kid… ]
This one takes a different approach, but it’s still worth a read.

[In Tyria they're reserved for the super extremely rich as it's simply too easy for them to be killed in the vast expanses between cities and settlements. Most people stick to pack animals like Dolyaks.]
But I do have a Skyscale - a sort of dragon - if you'd like to go for a ride on her sometime!
[Also she'll never admit it out loud but that book has her interested.]

Pardon me, a dragon?
no subject
A Skyscale, sort of a cousin of dragons. Small enough to not be terribly imposing, large enough to be a mount.

Bonsoir.
I'm not sure about the books, but you might check the Greatmoon Groves on level two. It seems to be the agricultural center of the city.
Lovely song, by the way.

Ah, merci! It didn’t occur to me to look beyond the gardens.
And forgive me, but, song?
[ don’t ask, but he predates edith piaf. ]

La Vie En Rose.
Unless you're not familiar with it. If that's the case, I'd recommend you give it a listen.

[ his shame, as a frenchman. he can’t be blamed. ]
But I’m not sure how I might access it here in this world.

You know, I believe I might have read one of those. Another in the series, I mean. I am afraid I do not tend to be very methodical about my reading choices, so I never looked into finding the rest... but I did enjoy it. (Well, now I am not sure it WAS the same series. But there was definitely a horse on the cover.)
Do you avoid going out during Sanguis?
no subject
And oui, I do try. I don’t like the way I behave.
no subject
I do have quite a lot of recommendations. Would you like to borrow some of my own collection? (I will admit that I chose nearly all of them based on their covers, but that is only because I was not looking for anything in particular to begin with... and in any case they were none of them disappointing)
I would be happy to bring them over, since you are not going out at the moment. (Although, to be honest, it is difficult for me to imagine your ever behaving particularly badly...)
no subject
I would love to see them. Even if I’m not interested in their contents, I trust your artistic eye!
(And please believe me when I say that it’s only because I try so hard that you can’t imagine it.)

Would you like to borrow them? We could also discuss about horses, if you will.
[ Yes, she has a horse, and yes, it's made entirely of crystals. ]
no subject
I could not have asked for a better response! I would love to borrow them if you would allow me.
Do you have a horse here, mademoiselle?
no subject
And I do have a horse! However, I must summon it in order to show you.
no subject
I will have to do research on the transference of digital volumes. I can hardly wait to get my hands on them regardless!
However, when you say “summon,” what in the world do you mean?

I dare say you have won my interest but sadly, I have yet to come across such riveting literature.
no subject
You simply must look into it! As I understand it, the author has written a plethora of novels on this topic, each one as gripping as the last.

Though, you are looking for more? I might not know where to get those, yet, but I may have a collection or two of short stories filled with wild abandon!
[ Please France, do not peddle off your hobby of dimestore novella. ]
no subject
It would hardly be polite to say no! What sort of stories are they?
no subject
By find I mean wrote. I do dabble in romance novella in my spare time you see.
[ What ensues next is a series of texts summarizing his latest literary adventure, focused on the tale of a Moonblessed being
seducedenraptured by the Guard and their attempt at winning the somber knight over. Quelle tragique --or something like that. ]Have you ever tried to write your own stories? It's quite cathartic.
