Music begins to play, and suddenly the image changes in time to the song, showing various things: a champagne tower, a booth full of smiling and laughing women with one handsome blonde man, a man with swept-back blue hair vibing in a fancy, twilit DJ booth…

Every time the club name is said, there's a strange echo… It's just kind of randomly peppered throughout the video over the background images, to be honest.]

[The images keep changing with the music, various hosts here and there, the blonde winking at the camera cheekily, the blue-haired man lounging in a booth alone, looking somehow indecent in his relaxation... Other men, well-dressed with hands extended in greeting, follow that, a quick show of all the hosts available.]

Welcome, my little kittens! It is our duty to fill your life with joy and laughter, for tonight we throw a party to celebrate you!

[Then finally, the blonde and the blue-haired man who keep appearing in the video show up one last time, sitting side by side on a plush sofa, legs attractively askew. They appear to be having a spirited conversation, but the blonde turns toward the camera for one last smile...]

At least you're self-aware. And if there was ever a better venue for a host club, I doubt anything tops a place where physical touch earns you money.

Correct! Countless guests absolutely come to take advantage of this opportunity! This place honestly makes host clubs more of a fair exchange, since both host and client get fulfillment out of it for this reason!

I don't really get the need to refer to customers as "kittens"... but then again I'm not the target audience here.

[ Ah. Damn, he has a point. Rosho's gotten more used to holding people's hands and stuff like that, but Sasara spends chroma like crazy, which means Rosho has to help provide for him, and then that gets him low on chroma.

And he hasn't even had his first moonphase yet so he has no idea how that'll turn out. ]

I get badgered for conversations on a regular basis so I have that covered. Not saying that they're fun. [ Sick burn, says the man in love with a stupid comedian. ]

But... um. Okay, so, if by some crazy chance I do need chroma, how does that work? At your club. Purely out of curiosity, ya know?

It depends on what you like!

[He holds up an index finger, and adds a finger for each point.]

One way clients do this is shoulder touching during conversation. This is popular as some come even when they're not completely comfortable being in a host club, but know it's good for chroma. Two, those who are less shy like linking arms or holding hands. Hugging is pretty normal as well. Three, depending on how comfortable client and host are with each other, things can continue outside of the host club, if you know what I mean.

[He gives a little wink!]

[ Well all of that certainly makes a lot of sense. Rosho doesn't know much about host clubs to begin with but he could imagine even with an establishment intended to cater to people who want companionship, you'd need a set sort of rules, just for the comfort and safety of the hosts. In a place where physical touch is of benefit to everyone, you can bend those rules, just a little.

But Rosho isn't exactly expecting that last part, the part that he is mostly definitely sure means these continued outside activities mean sex. ]

Wait, that's not allowed, is it? Relations outside of work? I mean, sure it's out of work, so you don't have rules you need to follow, and I've heard things from other people before but I thought they were just joking. You... uh, you personally don't do that sort of thing, do you? That can be really dangerous, yeah?

It's only not allowed in the host club! It's against the rules, but there are always hosts who take it outside of the club regularly.

[Dangerous, phew. Hifumi can't help but think man, if only Rosho knew about the kinds of stuff he has dealt with. He's in host mode though, so he continues on with a smile and carries on.]

I won't lie, I did in the beginning! Not as of late, however.

[ Probably one of those "as long as I don't see it then you're free to do it" sort of situations. Sketchy... He doesn't really get the impression that this is something this guy would do, even if he says so. Then again, what does he know about hosts? Nothing. ]

This might be a little sudden, but, could I ask what your moonblessing is?

Oh! It's Cordis!

[He puts his fingers at the sides of his head to indicate he gets fox ears, but who would even know that that's what he means by this gesture with all the other animals that can come with Cordis.]

[ Oh, he's the same as Sasara. ]

Nothing happened to me during Sanguis, and it's Cordis right now and nothing happened to me either so... I'm assuming that means I'm Iris?

That's great! [A sigh of relief!] That's not to say there aren't downsides to every moonblessing, but Sanguis seems to be the one with the most challenges!

[He just... can't imagine needing violence or blood for pleasure. Poor Sanguis folk! Poor Sensei.]

[ Why does he keep getting mixed opinions on the moonblessings? Well, at least there's an overall consensus: Sanguis sucks. ]

I'm not really surprised. I talked to a person who's Sanguis and I bet behaving that way would be a pain in the ass for everyone around me.
