{04 VIDEO feat Mollymauk}
[The video opens to Fish awake, sitting up in what seems to be their bed. Their dressing gown is on, at least. It's late at night in Lunatia-- give or take about 3am. And if your volume is up high enough, you might catch the sound of... someone? being very busy the next room over. Fish looks pretty concerned.]
Ah... hello.
[This is awkward.]
It's been a while since I've used this to address the whole network but... I was wondering how people deal with... ah... cats?
[And there's the sound of a door busting open and a blur of violet getting in the way of the camera and Fish and the suggestion that the merfolk threw their hand up so as to save the communicator from getting knocked over.]
Molly what--?
Ignore me, I'm just sneaking in here.
Wait, I can't--
Yeah, it's fine, just let me crawl in here.
I'm on the communicator.
Great. I don't wanna talk I just wanna sit...
[Rustle rustle.]
Perfect.
[A pause of silence.]
Continue, I'm comfortable now.
[The communicator comes down again, a little closer to Fish's face this time, they look defeated. But there's a very content, lavender-skinned, heavily tattooed tiefling on them, their tail swishing lazily and making a mess of the video a bit.]
I guess now you all know what I need... ah... a bit of advice on. Sorry, I'll get to replying to any answers later. It isn't the easiest having a lap full of cat-like tiefling.
[They huff and grin before turning the feed off.]

Sounds like he's being an asshole.
Should I come over?
no subject
... yes, please come over.
1/2
Okay. I'll head over.
2/2

[ And theyโll send a map and an address over the communicator. ]

[Camera goes everywhere, blurs and shapes and then cuts out.]

Eventually, she knocks on the door, greatsword as always strapped to her back as it always is.]

[Fish moves to get the door, concentration actually slipping so the dancing lights around Molly fade away. They open the door and look really apologetic. Also, welcome Yasha! She can already see that the apartment is a lot messier than the last time she came in for the cuddlepile.]
Thank you so much and I'm so sorry for the bother, Yasha.
no subject
You know, just until Fish mentions Yasha, He perks up instantly, padding out in a stolen dressing gown himself. Still dressed; just trying it on, as you do. ]
Oh?
[ THIS IS THE FACE OF INNOCENCE ]
no subject
It's fine, if it bothered me I wouldn't be here. [Probably. Either way, she's okay with dealing with Molly's brand of annoying.] Thanks for uh.. inviting me.
[She steps in and sets the blankets and greatsword by the door before making her way over to Molly and kissing him on the forehead.] I hear you're being an asshole.

no subject
And certainly not on purposeโ-[ Nope. A quick look at Fish, himself, then Yasha, whoโs obviously been called here to dote on him? He canโt deny it. ]
That bad huh?
[ Mostly to Fish, but he looks pretty sheepish honestly. Not accusatory. ]
Itโs been a bad moon.
no subject
I... it isnโt so much of a big deal but while Iโm not happy about my apartment getting messy like this, I canโt really get around to cleaning when you walk up to me and are... just... absolutely intoxicating.
[ For once, the merfolk is completely bashful about the whole thing. ]
no subject
But she does ruffle his hair a little before smoothing it out again.]
It's the moon more than you. [She casts a quick look around the room.]
But why the uh... pillows? On the ground?
no subject
[ wait no, mOLLY-- ]
As for the pillows? They just were in my way. Sort of. Seeing them propped up all pretty is one thing, but the satisfying 'thump' of them hitting the ground is another.
I'm sorry dearest, I had no idea.
no subject
[ Fish turns bright red now and is just obviously too enamored by Molly. ]
It isnโt that big of a deal, darling. Itโs something I can fix. Itโs just that... Iโm constantly distracted from fixing it.
no subject
With a small sigh, Yasha scoops Molly up and over her shoulder, holding him there in a fireman carry. She looks at Fish and nods.]
Now he can't distract you.
no subject
He's been carried in worse conditions. His tail just flicks. Much like a cat's.
Where are we going Yasha.
Thank gods he likes you.]...I guess I'm going out then, Fish.
no subject
Are you going, Yasha?
[The look on Fish's face says that they don't want Molly to go, but the defeated language of their body seems resigned, if this was the only way they could manage to tidy up their apartment.]
no subject
She gives Fish a reassuring look.]
Just around is all. [ Yasha makes like she is going to the door and but instead moves to look at Fish's curtains.]
These are nice. Look Mol, aren't these nice? [There's definitely some amusement there.]
no subject
Thereโs quite a lot to see in Fishโs apartment, really. The curtains were of a soft gauzy fabric, layered over with a thicker one in soft blue. The walls were covered in a very ornate, colorful wallpaper. And there were little trinkets related to the sea everywhere. ]

[ He makes no move to be put down.
Whatever kind of cat he was, he was the kind that adored being picked up. ]
