A coliseum is a place where all the strongest fighters compete.

[Kamui explains to his audience with an air of importance, as if he didn't just learn this himself.]

I heard that Lunatia has a fight club. Or it did, once.

[A rather pointy smile begins to spread across his lips as he pauses for effect.]

Tell me where Lunatia's coliseum is, and I'll meet all of you there.

[ This really feels like one of those posts she shouldn't reply to. More trouble than it's worth. And yet: ]

Shouldn't you find out where the place is before you extend an open invitation like that?

I don't know who's in the fight club either. This way, I learn everything at once.

That expression? You mean the bird one? [Hmm... Killing birds with rocks does sound pretty stupid.] Well, Earthlings have always been a little backwards. They forget to make sense half the time. You shouldn't worry about it too much.

[ Hang on a second. ]

Earthlings? Are you not human?

[It's starting to get alarming, just how many people here assume he's human. He's so used to everyone steering clear the moment they see his parasol up in daylight. This pattern of complete ignorance is a bit of a blow to his pride. His smile tightens.]

I'm Kamui, and I'm part of the Yato Clan. The Yato are amanto from another planet, far from Earth. We're much stronger than a batch of pathetic humans, you know.

[herbmixing]

[ Some green skin and antennae, and maybe it'll be easier. Rebecca quietly admonishes herself for the assumption nonetheless. ]

Oh, right...I'm sorry, I didn't realise. You look so similar to us, that's all.

[foeyay]

Well, it's better than looking like a dog anyway.

[He says while sporting animal ears. Oh well.]

Humans aren't the worst species out there. Some of them manage to surprise me on occasion.

[herbmixing]

[ ...yeah, sometimes, it's not worth fighting on it. She lets the animal thing go, but can't quite let the other one pass. There's a pause of surprised confusion, then she speaks again. ]

That's not very nice. What are you looking for, strong humans to fight?

[foeyay]

If I limited myself to humans, I'd get bored right away. I can't attach myself to just one funny samurai like some other easily amused groupies I know. I'm looking for the strongest of the strong, no matter what they are!

[herbmixing]

[ First of all, personally attacked. Second: ]

That - makes sense, I suppose. Unless we have a lot of technology on our side, we're nowhere near as physically strong as some other lifeforms. Have you found anything close yet?

[foeyay]

So far? Hmm... An excitable clown and an old flame!

[By "old flame," he means someone he's fought with before. Specifically Okita Sougo. He's... not about to explain that.]

[ Once again - so many questions. ]

He said his name was Hisoka.

[That Kamui remembers his name means he really does like him.]

I can't say that name rings a bell.

[ But it does worry her. Everything about this guy worries her. ]

Is he someone the rest of us should be worried about?

If you have to ask, then you have nothing worth worrying over.
