[It's early in the month, and that means Sanguis time. Kamui apparently doesn't care. His adorably fuzzy red panda ears and dark claws are on full display.]

A coliseum is a place where all the strongest fighters compete.

[Kamui explains to his audience with an air of importance, as if he didn't just learn this himself.]

I heard that Lunatia has a fight club. Or it did, once.

[A rather pointy smile begins to spread across his lips as he pauses for effect.]

Tell me where Lunatia's coliseum is, and I'll meet all of you there.

You sound fun.

[ And that's not even sarcasm; the guy on the other end of the feed is purely genuine, offering a little grin. 'Strongest fighters' and 'compete' are enough to make this sale. ]

Level 3 has a fighting arena, hmmm? I'll have to see if it's sturdy enough.

Yeah. They don't usually fight to the death, so that makes it a little boring, but it's better than nothing. Some of the guys really get into it, so that's not bad.

You don't have to fight to the death for a good match. Just fight to kill.

[If this sounds contradictory... Well, it is! But it's also something Kamui's come to accept with earnest. His little smirk says as much.

If neither combatant dies, the fight never has to end.]

H'oh. Well, you're not wrong. As long as the spirit's there.

[ Even if the best fight he ever had was to the death ... it took ten years of fighting to get it. That's a void difficult to fill once the dust's settled. ]
