Well, well. It seems it's true, then, that the potential exists for every monthly moon cycle to elicit a different set of changes in an individual. It's not exactly what I'd call reassuring, I suppose, but it's some consolation nevertheless. There are worse things to contend with than bioluminescence — which is proving to be a nuisance, but a tolerable one.
Of slightly more concern to me is the matter of moonlacing. While I recall that it's possible to get by on brief and simplistic methods of contact, it's also my understanding that a minimalist approach leaves a person exposed to a certain level of risk, should an unexpected drain on their chroma abruptly leave them overdrawn, as it were.
With that in mind, I'd be interested in negotiating terms for a mutually beneficial arrangement.
Let me stress that this is not a solicitation. Bold-faced overtures seeking sex will be denied without response. Consider this more an...attempt to establish certain contingencies, to afford everyone involved a little more peace of mind.
I'm willing to talk terms. If something of this nature is of interest to you, feel free to inquire within.

You're interested, then?

I would consider that a dealbreaker.
no subject
No.
Which is what I'd say if I were, but no, really. I haven't had to survive like this in a while, and if I don't have to, why should I.
no subject
Very pragmatic of you. I feel much the same, frankly.
Shall we meet somewhere, then?

[And he does, privately.]
Does that work?

In an hour, then?

[And so he will, well ahead of the agreed-upon time, sitting under a tree with his cloak spread beneath him like a picnic blanket. They're not so far from the paths that something untoward would go unnoticed, but the foliage keeps them out of direct view. It's a private space without being secluded.
Therion keeps his hands occupied while he waits with some whittling, adding the smell of dry, freshly cut wood to the scent of earth and growing things in the little glade.]

All of which is what Kurama does, up until the proper moment arrives; then, he steps out into view with his shoulders relaxed and his hands in his pockets.]
We meet again, I see.
no subject
That was the idea.
[His cloak ends up folded over his arm, his back rests casually against the tree.]
Sorry. I'd usually start something like this with a round of drinks, but you can't even trust plain ale around here not to mess with your head.
no subject
[He draws a little closer, but doesn't make a move to actually try to touch Therion, not yet.]
Or perhaps not just ale. Apple cider, I imagine?
no subject
[Therion tilts his head slightly.]
I keep busy. Cider doesn't pay for itself. If it did, neither of us would be here, would we?
no subject
[He draws a little closer, then extends a single hand.]
Shall we?
no subject
[Still, he pauses, then shakes his head at himself and rests his hand--tentatively, even now--in Kurama's. As if to explain, he says:]
I don't do this often.
[Whatever 'this' is.]
But at least you don't have to worry about romancing me.
