I'm Jian Yi and I haven't been here long, but I have the system worked out so far.

um, my roommate has a goal and needs help reaching it.
he needs as much chroma as he can get saved up as fast as possible.

Of course, having sex is by far the fastest way to generate chroma. I am not aware that any particular kind of sex is more powerful than any other, so really whatever you like / are interested in is fine
But we must also consider duration of contact! For instance, hugging/cuddling generates chroma quite a bit more slowly, but if you cuddle with someone for several hours (or even all night long) then your ultimate yield may be much greater than if you had a single sexual encounter and then spent the rest of the evening by yourself. "Making out" is somewhere in between, but perhaps it is a poor choice if you wish to maximize the return on investment? Personally I find that my lips become quite tired eventually, and unlike cuddling, you cannot really multitask... so I believe that it is best suited to a situation where your ultimate desire is actually just to make out with someone, rather than to get a lot of chroma

My preferred method of moonlacing when I need a quick boost or a bit of extra money is to ask for a hug! Passersby are less likely to balk at this request than they might at one for a kiss (or for sex). And it takes no longer than a handshake or "high five" while providing a significantly greater chroma yield!

asking for a hug would get you chroma in a pinch but it doesn't seem like it'd be a good way to get a lot of chroma.

But I do enjoy hugging a lot of people, over and over again.

As for finding someone to moonlace with, it is as simple as making friends! For example, going places, meeting people, getting to know them, etc.

Of course, there are also "hookup apps"

That depends on a number of factors...
For example, if you swiped left on me, nothing further would happen.
But if by chance you also swiped right, then we would have a text conversation, much as we are doing now!
And then we would probably discuss the types of things we were interested in doing with one another... likely regarding moonlacing in particular, at least in large part. But also perhaps things like drinking coffee or attending an event
And then once we had reached a preliminary agreement on what we wished to do, we would arrange to meet, and then we would most likely do the things we had agreed on! As well as any other things we might decide on in the moment.
