[ She's been sitting on this for a little bit now, unsure how to proceed. Luckily there's this handy dandy thing called the internet that she can ask. Anonymously, no less. Granted she'll probably out herself fairly quickly. ]

Those of you in committed relationships here how do you go about things?

What I mean is the Moons and various happenings in this world have a tendency to cause complications. So how do you deal with those things? What kind of arrangement have you come to?

I do, actually and I trust my partner. They are without a shadow of a doubt, the best thing that's happened to me. I'm just not very good at dealing with myself. I've lived my entire life a certain way that living a normal life was impossible, and there in lie the grande sized problem. I really have no idea how I'd react, I'm bad at processing that kind of thing alone. Thank goodness they're smarter than me.

I can understand going from living life a way that doesn't allow for many of things we have to deal with here to suddenly... Well, you know. Trying to figure it all out seems like a lot of trial and error.

[ If only Hades were smarter than her. Sadly they're both idiots when it comes to this stuff. ]

No harm done. But yeah, it's hard. I know a little from people watching and speaking but knowing and doing are really two different things. That's been made very clear.

[ Though thankfully, his significant other is easy to love. ]

I would still rather avoid the trial and error, especially the error part, because of my unpredictable nature. Maybe one day we'll talk about it, hopefully before anything happens. It's the smart thing to do but it still scares me.

Yeah, all my knowledge of relationships comes from books, other media, and watching other people.

Yeah, it's all pretty scary. But I'd rather have it all out in the open from the start.

I agree but, it's still incredibly hard and painful. At least for me it is, just thinking about it already kinda hurts. How do you even process that? 'I'm sorry I accidentally slept with someone else because moons' it sounds ridiculous in my head but also not. It makes me angry but I don't know who to direct it at or if I should even get angry. In a way, not knowing would save me the hurt.

I know open relationships are a thing, and I'm kinda envious with how those folks in that type of relationship can do that. I know I certainly can't.

I understand that. I think if I hadn't been here as long as I have been I think the whole situation would make me a lot angrier. Granted, Sanguis does have a tendency to make me more possessive...

The more I think about it the more I think I'd be okay with an open relationship as long as feelings aren't involved with someone else. But I don't know how he feels about it. Which is where all the talking has to happen.

That's another thing though. Is it even really possible for another to be sexually involved with another and not eventually have feelings? I don't personally think so, just another thought that drives me crazy.

I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm trying to burst your bubble. It's just stuff that I've been thinking about and haven't really had the chance to talk to anyone about.

I think so. I mean, I do care about the people I've slept with but it's on a friendship level, you know? Like, I can't imagine myself having anything other than what we currently have because there's only one person I want more with.

I suppose not everyone is the same so it might not be as easy for them.

You can sure say that again, but that is one way to look at it. Sex and attraction to me is already a pretty abstract thing. I mean I don't get it. I see someone who's pretty but, I don't really get the urge to chase them or even admire them. My current partner is the exception and even I don't really know exactly what it was that drove me to want them. It also doesn't help that I'm kinda dumb.

Honestly, it wasn't something I'd experienced until shortly before arriving here. And even in this world, there's only a few I find I want to be physically intimate with, Moon influence or no.

I don't think anyone is particularly smart when it comes to this kind of thing.

Probably, but there are those who are better at this than most.
