These posts always made me wonder what kind of civilization I've been pulled into that we all sit around and talk to ourselves until other people do or don't decide to talk back.

Before any of you kind souls tries to gg me on being here, sitting by myself, talking into the post, I'm aware. Your humour is dry. I'm just bored and thought I'd follow the herd like every other upstanding citizen. So here I am, talking to myself and curious about what those out there, will say back.

It's almost cute that you think it's out of politeness he didn't just follow or challenge the idea you had a random person to meet in an alley in the darkest, dankest parts of this city. Be rude, it might save your life.

I have no business down there, but if you're going to keep going I want to learn the area. I don't want to be blind about what's in the darker corners. If you want walking company, I'll go the next time you're down there.

Well, you might want something to entertain yourself while the therapy session is happening, unless you want to join us.

[[How little indeed. In the short time he's known Shigaraki, he's almost been a witness to the murder of an annoying man who may or may not be alive today and the start of Shigaraki trying to get back to a place of power.]]

It's just to make sure you don't run in to problems. If this place actually has an underbelly, you have a lot to learn.

Curiosity sake, what do you do in a session? I've never been to something like it.

We usually start with fifteen minutes of writing to a prompt, followed by fifteen minutes of free writing. If they want, they can share their writing with the group and get positive feedback. It helps them express their emotions, and a lot of them take pride in what they've created.

So it's a creative writing class. They only get positive feedback?

They're just starting out - criticism would be more damaging than helpful. A lot of them don't believe that they can write at all.

Look at this good man doing good things. Shigaraki you're a demon. I would write in that class.

...Wouldn't it be better to suit them to things they're good at if they're bad at it?

No one is good at writing when they start out, just like no one is good at anything the first time they try it. The point is for them to learn that they can build their skills and improve themselves as creators while expressing themselves in a constructive way.

Hardened criminals are still people like anyone else.

[He understands not everyone believes in them like Atsushi does, but still...]

Is that really how you feel about them? People that are exactly like anyone else?

Well, not exactly. Every person is different... but they're not more different than other people, you know?

By difference you mean a different level of dangerous. They're people, of course they are, but that doesn't make them any less dangerous. They're there for a reason.

That might be true, but I don't think that means we should be unkind to them...

Why not instead of creative writing, ask them how they think they've gotten there and to write their personal story. I will give you a gentleman's agreement that we're going to find it isn't people like me who've been unkind, it's people who've given them no chance or false hope.
