Once I get the space together, I'm starting a self-defense class.
[ The video starts showing Ash in front of a simple apartment wall. ]
Shouldn't need a lot of explanation. You pay me, I'll teach you how to fight. It doesn't matter how big or small you are, if you're a man or a woman. There'll be handgun lessons, too. Not at the same time; if you can roundhouse while firing a gun, you're not there for the class.
Payment can be chroma or demichroma. If it's chroma, it has to be transferred through our hands. If you know what you're doing and looking for a place to pass that along, I'll take on a few more teachers and a nurse or two. I'll have to see your stuff first.

That's technically what I call myself, but I'm sort of a Jill of All Trades. ;)
I actually work most days at a PI office.
I get plenty of training done while fighting, but that doesn't build muscle the same way weights do and a fight isn't the time to learn new techniques. You want to be at your sharpest when the time comes.
[ Jill can definitely relate to getting herself into trouble. It's sort of her job, after all. ]
Sliding scale.
I know it's not always easy to come by, especially for custom arms or things that don't seem to exist here.
If it's some kinda special bullshit with lasers or whatever I'd need to see the weapon first and figure it out, but I can promise you that I definitely will figure it out. :)

I practice the techniques separately. That's a little different than running to run. I have enough muscle. It's actually quieter here than it is in New York so I'll probably have to add something, but the gym's not my favorite place.
No lasers. Not yet. Now that I know it's a possibility, I'll get back to you on that.
Some 9mm just for generic compatibility. .357 Magnum rounds would be as custom as it got for now.

Not much for cardio, myself. Just enough to keep me light on my feet since speed's one of my specialties.
I have a home gym and use my yard for the most part. Don't like performative training like in gyms proper unless I have to be in one.
Ha ha, same. :)
I can handle that. I've got a surplus of those, actually, since I use them and so do my housemates.
I do customize weapons, by the way.

Home gym? Yard? Personal training is working out for you.
The 9mm or the mags? Most people do use 9mm. The people I'll be teaching will be, at least while they're practicing with me. The magnum rounds are for personal use.
Jill of all trades, huh? Are you military?

Ha ha, yeah! I've been here about a year now, though, so it's easier to get comfortable over time. (I also have two housemates.)
9mm, for the most part anyway. But magnums are pretty popular in my circles.
Former. Currently, back home, I'm a Spec Ops Agent with an anti-bioterrorism NGO; we're militarized.

For good reasons. If you know what you're doing, it's a great gun. There's not a lot of reason to shoot anything twice.
Since I'll have them firing at targets, it shouldn't be too hard to collect the used cartridges and send them back if that'll cut down on costs. I'll use the karate kid method and tell them it's discipline.

What model do you have, if you don't mind me asking? My personal arm is a customized Beretta M92F -- if that's something that exists in your world.
It'll help a lot. Like I said, I do sliding scale since I know it can be a bit rough overall. It's helpful to me in general since I don't really have the means to make cartridges myself at the moment.
:)
Nice to have someone reference that. The familiarity is missed when I make jokes like that, ha ha!
