[ This is how she usually starts her video posts. Best to introduce herself to everyone first, after all! ]

My sister, Winter Schnee, isn't in Lunatia anymore. It's been a few days since, and for those who know her or are... [ A short pause. She's not quite sure if she should say the next word, so when she does, it's accompanied with a very unsure expression and airquotes. ] "friends", the Moon Knights and Lunar Scientia believe that it's because she couldn't produce enough Chroma.

I won't go into the details of the situation of Atlas, our Kingdom, but Winter has been working hard ever since she joined the military. It was nice to see her get to know people here, since she doesn't spend the little free time she has with other people. I'll probably get slapped in the head for saying this, but Winter's not here! So... thanks for keeping Winter company here.

... [ She looks to the side. That was awkward, having to thank a population for being her sister's friend. But she's sure Winter would have done the same for her. While she's here, though, and because she doesn't want to end on an awkward note, she figures out something else to say. ] Oh, and... I suppose since I'm already here—

I'd like to learn how to write songs. Lyrics, specifically. What are some of your favourite lyrics from songs you're fond of? Maybe then I can get some inspiration.

[That address is saved into his contacts and plugged into his maps. It'll be interesting to see Weiss' living space, he thinks.]

Alright. I'll be by in the afternoon, probably around 4.

[That's the ideal tea and snack time, after all! ... and it'll give him time to gather everything and look less exhausted.

Regardless of his current Tempeste-induced state, he's determined to keep to his commitments; as promised, Weiss should hear her doorbell no later than ten till four the next day.]

[ Ferran is a good! He's not late, just on time! Weiss has been prepared to receive a guest since about an hour ago. Not that there's much to prepare in the first place. She's neat and orderly, so she keeps her apartment the same way.

She opens the door a few seconds after her bell rings. Her hair is up, little white round snow leopard ears atop her head and black rosettes adorn her neck, arms, and calves. She even has a long and slender tail, swaying from side to side very, very slowly when she welcomes him. ]

Hey. Come in and make yourself comfortable.

[ Ice Queen is in a good mood! It's Cordis... :) ]

[If he's exactly on time then that's basically the same as late!!

Ferran smiles a little at Weiss when she greets him, his own Iris traits—feathery back, pointed ears and fangs, frilly elbow tendrils—still on full display thanks to the nanomachines' waning influence. He also happens to be sporting a tiny pair of useless wings which mostly make the bag slung over his shoulder awkward to adjust.

He also looks tired, but that's not important. What is important is that he's holding an additional large bag that he'll be bringing into the kitchen and setting down.]

Good to see you. How's your day been so far?

[schmisse]

I actually got a lot done this morning. I went to the gym, and then I did dance rehearsal at the theatre. I got back after lunch, cleaned up the house some more, and then took a shower.

[ That's a lot for her! Exercise, work, food, being clean and orderly!! Today's been a triumph, if you asked her. ]

I'm happy to be able to move around again. Last month killed a lot of my plans.

[ She follows him into the kitchen, tail up and alert as she waits with bated breath for Ferran to bring out the bag's contents. ]

[Even during Cordis she gets so much done!! Dang, girl.]

No kidding? I guess you've earned a treat, then.

[The cake is pulled out of one of the bags first, amounting to about four slices. He hasn't encountered the infamous Cordis appetite yet, but he can always make more of her other requested treat if she wants that much. And by that, he means teach her to make them and let her do it.]

What do you think—pancakes or lemon cake first?

[ She's not lazy, you boob!!! ]

Pancakes. Always pancakes.

[ They're breakfast food, after all! It's also not breakfast anymore, but that's the logic behind it! ]

[Look when he gets the impression of someone being spoiled, that comes with some other assumptions!! Also Ferran is not exactly known for not preemptively judging people.]

Good choice.

[Ferran pulls the ingredients he's brought out of the second bag: flour, eggs, buttermilk, and so on. As he turns to look for the bowls and pan they'll need, he gets right to business, so to speak.]

So, what do you know about making pancakes?

[schmisse]

I've done them before?

[ ... is she not supposed to know anything? Ferran, please. Pancakes are literally the only thing she can cook, but she'd prefer not to cook at all. ]

[He pulls out her whisk and holds it up, an incredulous smile on his face.]

Remind me what you call this again...?

[He absolutely does not believe her.]

[schmisse]

I don't need to know what it's called to know how to use it!

[ Gosh!!!! :( ]

[noblegarnet]

[He laughs, the sound genuine without being too mean.]

Okay, alright. Why don't you show me your best pancake and I'll make the tea? [And in case she whines about it:] I can make you more after that, but I just want to know for sure.

[schmisse]

I feel like I just got played!

[ He's making her cook pancakes?? That's supposed to be his job!! ]

Ugh, fine... I've gotten better, so I'll— I'll show you!

[ TIME TO PREPARE THE TOOLS ]

It's just a little give and take.

[NO REGRETS. He moves to the cabinets to find and retrieve what they need for the tea, the smile on his face all but overriding the fatigue in his eyes.]

[ Ferran's free to make himself at home. Weiss is gonna complain as she brings out the ingredients from the bag, and then the tools afterwards. Pancakes are easy to prepare— Weiss has had a year's worth of practice to at least get everything right. That's why she doesn't look lost at all when she moves around the kitchen. ]

I guess you don't have anything to do if you're here today.

[ Lowkey calling him a bum. ]

I actually took off my magic training to come visit, since you were nice enough to invite me.

[Don't you dare when he came here because you asked him to, Weiss—]

There's a few assignments I have to finish for the Academy, but I'll have plenty of time to do them tonight.

[The tea will be brewed up soon enough, with plenty to share between the two of them when they tackle the sweets. He's going to watch her make that pancake, though. At least he'll keep quiet when he does, rather than try to coach her immediately...]

Is the school here any different from where you used to attend?

[ She only attended short courses for magic, but that's it. She wonders what it's like to study in full.

In any case, better get the batter ready! Flour, eggs, water, butter... ]

The structure of most of the classes isn't too different, no.

[Aside from like... history, which understandably has a lot less in terms of concrete records. And magic, which is entirely different, at least for him.]

You have a lecture, read from the textbooks, get assignments and take tests... It's nothing special, once you catch up with it. Enrolling at a weird time was the newest part of it for me, honestly.

And how well do you do in these tests?

You don't have to brag.

[ Although Weiss would actually tell him the same thing if she were in his shoes! ]

Most of my classes are either interesting or useful [at least in his opinion], so I spend a lot of time studying.

What other hobbies do you have?

Aside from reading... [Training isn't much of a hobby when you don't actually like it, so—] Swimming, sketching, going to movies. And travel, though that's a little limited here.

Sketching, huh?

[ That's one skill Weiss was never good at! Her art skills lean towards music and theatre. ]

What kinds of things do you sketch?
