[The video starts up and is on for almost an entire minute with Gokudera staring at it. He's got leopard spots on his face, fluffy silver-gray cat ears poking out from his hair, and then he drops the device.]

Fuck-!

[It lands on the floor, camera pointed up. He's right in front of the door to his apartment, and it seems he can't pick his phone up, because instead of having hands, for this Triple Moon, he has paws. No thumbs. He can't pick the phone up, and instead bats at it. He's not realized that it's recording.]

Whatever...

[So now he's going to try and open his front door. There's a lot of cursing under his breath, and he's smacking at the handle, unable to knock without knuckles to do so.]

Stupidfucking... finger... toes.... just gotta... Ugh! Come on....

[Claws drag over it, and then he's leaning forward, trying to angle his paw and then getting a claw stuck in the keyhole. Gokudera makes a pathetic wailing noise and has to carefully twist it out. He huffs at the door, takes a few steps back, and cuts off the feed with one of feet, which is also a paw. Help him? Cheer him on? Laugh at him?]

It's my hands and my feet! I mean... yeah... I'm not entirely a cat, but this still sucks.

[It is still Gokudera versus his front door. It's not the worst thing to happen, but it's irritating him a great deal. Now he knows why Uri gets so loud when doors are shut.]

I lost the whole lower half of my body one time. Snake butt is real.

[ It was very Naga-esque. And she had no idea how to stay upright while moving so it was a whole Thing to learn. Then by the time she did, it was over. ]

Snake butt? How do you mean? Why wouldn't it be real? [Sure, snakes don't have butt cheeks, but everything poops, so he doesn't see why it wouldn't be real to have a butt as a half snake.]

That sounds incredibly difficult.

[He looks lost on how to even imagine the difficulties. How would she even move? If he did something like have his lower half turned snake, he'd just drag and struggle to keep his torso up.]

[ She's not being literal. ] So from my butt to my toes was gone and was replaced by a giant snake tail. I had to get people to help drag me up the stairs. That only happened once, but I still am never sure if I'm going to be temperature-sensitive or not, so I have to talk people into going into the freezer section at the store for me. But I've always been able to open doors, so...

[ At least she hasn't lost her thumbs yet. ]

[He nods and listens, frowning. It sounds so difficult. Awful. To have to be dragged up stairs!]

At least you weren't alone... Honestly I'm feeling pretty lucky that this is all I'm dealing with. [And he wiggles his toes (fingers?). He keeps forgetting about the pheromones.]

[ Though... ] Aren't you Cordis? [ Mayuzumi's a cat almost every month, so she's pretty sure, anyway. ] You could probably just pull someone in off the street to do it for you.

[He glares at the camera.] Why would I want some stranger pulled off the street to know where I live?!

If you can see some stranger on the street from where you are, don't they already know?

[ He is just kind of standing around.. she can't really see where the street is adjacent to him though, so who knows. ]

[It's not a bad idea, but he won't do what she suggests, and his fur is bristling slightly. Gokudera knocks his elbow into the door, hoping that will be loud enough for his roommate to hear.]

Sounds like you're the reason you can't get in then, not your moonblessing. Just go pheromone someone. Then kick them out and shame them for assuming you were trying to seduce them just because you're Cordis.

[ Emerald would 100% do that if she were Cordis. She's absolutely fine with being a tease and a little mean. ]

[ Emerald's never been Cordis, so she's not exactly sure if there's a way to direct it, but she knows she's always way more willing to give attention and try to impress her Cordis boyfriend when his moon is out. ]

Does it less more right than standing outside your door while passersby and strangers on the internet laugh at you?

[He could fight off someone if he has to, but he also knows that even acting offended might not play out well. He’s a naturally aggressive person, and wouldn’t ask for help on a normal day.]

[Gokudera’s ears flick back in obvious irritation, and he scoffs before closing the conversation. He was trying to post so someone he knew could help him, but given that he doesn’t know many people on this alien planet, it just hasn’t worked out. Her idea isn’t bad, but he doesn’t like the assumption it implies.]
