I want to know more about the worlds that everyone left behind.
Like what countries there are, what they look like, what's different from here. It's such a waste of opportunity not to learn about other worlds, you know? As long as I'm going to be stuck here, I'd like to stretch my imagination and learn something new.
I, for one, just came from Japan. Yokohama City, to be exact. I wouldn't be surprised if more of you are from Yokohama... Oh~ But imagine if we're all from alternate Yokohama Cities. That would be interesting as well.
Anyway~. Tell me about your homes, please. And where are my manners? My name is Lucy Montgomery. A pleasure.

Ooh, the Cosmo Clock. That's the giant ferris wheel, right? I've wanted to try it since I first saw it. What a shame that I never got a boyfriend~.
[After all! Ferris wheels are best visited with a boyfriend.
Lucy has said something sad, but she sounds almost happy about it.]

[After all, there were two Atsushis.
... Are. He still exists, even if he isn't in this world, after all.
She's a little glad that she isn't speaking with the video on, because she would be looking rather concerned at the way she says it. So instead, she offers:]
It's not a replacement for a boyfriend, but if you'd want... the virtual reality machines can recreate things from memory. I've been on it before, so I could actually show you what the experience is like.

Though, that virtual reality machine does sound like fun! Imagine using it to see another world... Or visiting each other's Yokohamas and seeing what shops are different!

[Is she being serious or is she joking? It's hard to tell, with the amusement in her voice or not. Although she's definitely already been there on a date once before.
Although she's not going to think on that fact too hard.]
I've seen Atsushi's Yokohama through it, before. When he wanted to show me some things.
[There's a slight wistfulness in her voice as she says those words, though.]
no subject
She can't say that, though. Inaba mentioned Atsushi and she knows there are two Atsushi from Yokohama for Inaba. One of them left. The one whose apartment Lucy now occupies.]
Did you see anything interesting? I'm sure shops must be different at least, right? I wonder what the Agency building is used for in your world.
no subject
[She's being very vague with "his workplace" because she knows this is a public post.]
Hmm... I don't know. It's possible that the building might not actually exist where I'm from.
no subject
[Lucy hums thoughtfully.]
Isn't that kind of romantic to think about? Even the buildings, that seem so big and unmovable, can exist or not depending on subtle changes. It's like a person's dream to start a business has the power to literally move buildings.
Oooh, I wonder if dreams can move mountains too. If I knew the topography better, I'd try to compare.

[There's an obvious awkwardness in her voice, as if she doesn't really want to go too in depth. It'd be too sad.]
And that might be.
There might be small, subtle differences between worlds or large ones. Like your world has ability users and things like that, right? Mine doesn't have any of that.
no subject
I wonder if you exist in my world, Inaba, and I simply haven't crossed paths with you yet.
no subject
...was an author back home, so that might be the case back home as well.
no subject
It's kind of cool to think about, right?
no subject
[She doesn't try to think about it too much, though.]
I don't know about being an author myself in another world... my name is pretty plain, if I'm going to be honest.
no subject
And besides. Lucy Montgomery isn't a very unique name either. There are a lot of other Montgomerys and Lucys. But I'm still an author, apparently.
no subject
[Inaba, that's not entirely true and you know it.]
I suppose that's true. I'd be embarrassed if someone with my name was an author, though.
[She's obviously not fond of her first name for various reasons, even if it's a more common one.]

I'd probably need something creative... but I can't say that I have much of that. I don't think a name like that is a bad thing, though.
