I want to know more about the worlds that everyone left behind.

Like what countries there are, what they look like, what's different from here. It's such a waste of opportunity not to learn about other worlds, you know? As long as I'm going to be stuck here, I'd like to stretch my imagination and learn something new.

I, for one, just came from Japan. Yokohama City, to be exact. I wouldn't be surprised if more of you are from Yokohama... Oh~ But imagine if we're all from alternate Yokohama Cities. That would be interesting as well.

Anyway~. Tell me about your homes, please. And where are my manners? My name is Lucy Montgomery. A pleasure.

No, I do not normally travel to other worlds. My visiting that world was considered an exceptional circumstance that required considerable preparation and concentration.

Your question does not possess a simple yes or no answer. It is possible for anyone to leave this place provided certain conditions are met. Moreover, I presently still exist within Novo.

The body with which I am using to interact with this world is little more than an interface. It is impossible for what you would call my "true form" to exist within this world. Thus, to say I am "calling from Novo" would not be 100% inaccurate.

The conditions to leave this world are simple to meet, though they may not be considered desirable. The first condition, for example, would be either crystallization or the cessation of biological function.

[In other words, you can leave when you're dead.]

Is that not also "leaving this place"? [Gotta be careful about those Exact Words, Lucy.]

[He shakes his head.] I apologize--that had been an attempt to tell a joke. [Humor is... not something he's great at.]

However, it is true that a percentage of Moonblessed whose bodies lose functionality via crystallization possess additional information upon recovery from stasis. This includes both physical and psychological information, reportedly a reflection of a period of time in which they had returned to their world of origin.
