I want to know more about the worlds that everyone left behind.
Like what countries there are, what they look like, what's different from here. It's such a waste of opportunity not to learn about other worlds, you know? As long as I'm going to be stuck here, I'd like to stretch my imagination and learn something new.
I, for one, just came from Japan. Yokohama City, to be exact. I wouldn't be surprised if more of you are from Yokohama... Oh~ But imagine if we're all from alternate Yokohama Cities. That would be interesting as well.
Anyway~. Tell me about your homes, please. And where are my manners? My name is Lucy Montgomery. A pleasure.

Are you unable to leave this place?

Your question does not possess a simple yes or no answer. It is possible for anyone to leave this place provided certain conditions are met. Moreover, I presently still exist within Novo.

And uh. Are the conditions easy to meet? In case I might ever want to leave.

The conditions to leave this world are simple to meet, though they may not be considered desirable. The first condition, for example, would be either crystallization or the cessation of biological function.
[In other words, you can leave when you're dead.]

What? That's not an option at all, then! Isn't that basically like saying "you'll die and go to the afterlife?"

However, it is true that a percentage of Moonblessed whose bodies lose functionality via crystallization possess additional information upon recovery from stasis. This includes both physical and psychological information, reportedly a reflection of a period of time in which they had returned to their world of origin.

[Shaking her head. His humor is bad, it's true. She won't even try to be nice about it.]
Huh. I actually hadn't heard about that. Then again, I don't talk to many people outside of my friends. Kind of weird, don't you think? They don't go home, but turn into crystal? Does their mind go away or is it like a vision, you think?
