Good afternoon, everyone. Hopefully everyone slept well last night?

[ ... Okay, he knows that's a very awkward way to start a network post, but he does need advice and it might become more personal than he'd care to admit, so how does he...? ]

I'm doing fine myself, but I can't stop thinking of some of those painful nightmares I had last week. This is strange, considering I don't usually recall what I dream about... And I think my dreams had to do with my father?

Did anyone else dream of personal things of that sort? Is there a dream interpreter I should speak to?

Any help would be appreciated.

I will admit, my own memory hasn't been too good these days. Rather unfortunate, really, especially since I haven't really thought of my father for a bit too long...

So I can't explain to myself why my feelings about this man are mixed.

Feelings about other people are usually complicated. At least in my experience.

That creature that manipulated our dreams was intentionally trying to cause suffering. I think it probably preyed on whatever it could to try and cause you uncertainty.

but i also have trouble forgetting the nightmare contents. no parents is there, though... you meet father?

I don't think I met him directly in my dream... He was only mentioned. Then... Something about finishing his work? Seems familiar, but I can't really tell why.

Did you wake up with any wounds on your person? It's over now, but a friend of mine told me there might have been something attacking us in our dreams.

Though now that I think of it, I think I remember finding an incomplete draft of his a long time ago. I think I wanted to finish it for him?

yes, there was time when i wake up like this. when i dream about bad memory, of wolf attack in mountains.

draft is writing? what should be finished? or you was too young for memory?

That sounds horrible, I hope you're doing better.

Draft as in schematics, like what you might see in construction work.

I don't think I've really told anyone this on the network before, but ever since a terrible accident from before I came here I've been having a lot of trouble remembering things. So it's not a case of "too young for memory" but rather "a good chunk of my past faded away."

Exactly! One of my favorite things about this world are the advancements in medicine and technology. It's a little overwhelming at times, but fascinating nonetheless.
