Hello? Can everyone see me? Connor, am I doing this right? Okay? ... Okay.

[She clears her throat and dips into a bow, the camera bobbing along with her.]

Hello! This is Konoha... some of you maybe think my name is Shizu, but- It's Konoha! I'm from Echigo province, in Japan, if you know it... and I'll be in your care.

If you don't know me, which, I figure is most of you, this city must be even bigger than the capital I'm the... well in my world we say jinba but I'm the "centaur". I haven't seen anyone else like me so I think I can say "the"...

Anyway... what I wanted to ask was... if anyone had an recommendations for... shops? I've never really shopped before, and I haven't seen any locals quite like me, so if you know somewhere that does... I don't know, tailoring? Or a restaurant with really big seats or tall tables? Anything like that!

[She's been using "magic" as a way to explain basically everything in these other worlds she doesn't understand, but she doesn't... actually know much about it...]

I'm actually a witch, so very magic.

[ But the cool kind of witch. ]

Really? You definitely don't look like the witches from my world's stories.

They're all... old crones who live in mountain hovels and stuff.

Well where do you think all the crones started off? You don't just suddenly age a hundred years when you do magic.

[lumberlady]

I guess I just kind of figured that they didn't start being witches until they did that... Not that I really thought about it much I guess?

Not a lot of people think about it where I'm from either.

[ Again, magic on decline and all. ]

I've been learning since I was real young though.

What kind of magic do you learn... ? Not curses, I hope...

If you don't learn them, how can you learn to fight them?

I... don't know.

You don't. But I'm bad at curses, because they're not much fun, so don't worry about it.

What's your specialty then?

Broom riding, with a side of object transformation. ...really, I just like flying.

[ She sighs. ]

It's so freeing.

You can fly? Like really high in the air like a bird?

[ Amanda disappears, sets up the phone to prop up on a table and gently floats back into view, sitting cross-legged on a broom. ]

I can go all the way up to... well, as high as is safe here.

Oh, gods- ! You're really flying! Don't fall!

[ Now she's feeling a lot better. ]

[ Amanda dips backward a little, kicks a leg out, spins the broom around to under her back, and just reclines on it like it's no big deal. ]

Don't scare me like that! Aaaaah, that's crazy! First I see someone fly on a shovel and now a broom?

A shovel too, huh?

[ She could do that, but the aerodynamics sound... wobbly.

Amanda sits up straight, picks up her phone, and heads to open up her window. ]

Wish I could give you a lift, but you might... not actually fit. Sorry.

[lumberlady]

Oh, no, I'm fine... The shovel was scary enough, I'm good... Jinba weren't meant to fly...

[She waves her hand to wave away the very idea- It's cool! For people who are not her!]

Th- Thanks, though... You must be really quick at getting around...

[ Amanda bends herself... pretty damn flat to ride her broom straight out a window. Flexible. ]
