Greetings, one and all! I'm feeling rather frisky tonight, and I'm sure many of you are as well. That being the case, how about we play a fine game of "Rate That Ass"?

If you've never played this game before, allow me to tell you the rules! It's rather simple. All it takes is posting a photo of an ass, and have others rate it!

it seems like you go all in with everything you do and that's admirable and makes you a stand up guy as far as i'm concerned

hey man, don't even sweat it. like it's probably just one of those fate things that people always go on about, but the thing about me is that i don't let fate dictate my life and will do everything i can to beat the odds and make things right.

i gotta admit though, this has been something else altogether. i never had people to rely on before i went to prison and all this shit went down. it was just always me and mom so it's actually been kind of nice not feeling like i'm doing this alone, even if a couple of my buddies at home were super unexpected.

Thank you, Jolyne. I really try to put my all into everything, and your family deserves a happy ending. I just wish that it stayed a happy ending for you, but if nothing else, you definitely have people to rely on here. And hearing that you have friends at home who you can rely on too is a relief, since Jotaro's clearly still hurting. You deserve support too, of course! As does your mother.

I'm a fortune-teller so part of me wants to make a terrible joke about the fate stuff, but I think that at the end of the day, you're completely right! No matter what anyone else believes, you still forge ahead on your own, and everything around you moulds to fit! Just like a shooting star, haha.

(As an aside, did your father ever tell you about the time he was in a police cell? It's a funny story in hindsight, but I don't know if he'd find it so funny as I do.)

it’s really less that he’s hurting and more like he did something he shouldn’t have done.
he actually came to try and break me out even though he knew it was a trap and we sure as shit were attacked trying to get out
even tho he knew quite a bit neither of us knew what to expect as far as the attack went.
whoever is behind this has a stand capable of taking both your memories and stand from you in disc form

dad is the one that what the focus of the attack and fell into a coma after exchanging some sentiments
I got his body out of the prison and to the sub from spw but I stayed behind so I could recover what he lost
the others thought he might be dead but I knew that wasn’t the case because I could feel it
we managed to learn if you get at least one of the discs back it could bring someone out of the coma
so far I had gotten his stand disc back to him, but I was in the process of finding his memory disc when I was brought here

i didn’t want to upset you with this info, but I think it might be necessary since that person I told you about previously is probably the one behind this
the only thing I could conclude about them is that they must be a man because that’s the only part of the prison I have restricted access to and that’s where a majority of the activity took place

Oh. That sounds unpleasant. I'm glad that you're alright and that the Speedwagon Foundation's helping you, though. Well, were! Because that's a hell of a Stand to be up against, from the sound of it. Memory-stealing and Stand-stealing in one...I'll have to keep an eye out for any other Stand users, including the ones I've already met here.

Do you know anyone here, Jolyne? From home? Even if they're your friends, I'd watch them. If they're attacking your father more than you, there's a high likelihood that they're related to DIO somehow, even now, or that they've at least heard of the struggle against him and want to benefit from his stolen memories and Star Platinum.

I feel like maybe telling you a funny story would be a little gauche after all that. But I did promise, so here it is. Turns out that when DIO got his Stand, your family did too. Your father thought that he was possessed by some 'evil spirit', since he kept getting in fights and it would fight far harder than necessary. After he got some thugs hospitalised with Star Platinum, he was thrown in a cell until your grandmother could pick him up!

Except he didn't want to leave! Your great-grandfather and I were occupied in New York trying to sort this DIO thing out, but we got called over just to get him out of this cell since he didn't want to hurt anyone. Even though he put on a brave face, I think he was actually scared of what Star Platinum could do, since he couldn't quite control him...So we flew over, Miss Holly was distraught of course, and I ended up having to fight your father just so he'd leave the damn cell. It was a tough one, and I almost went all out on him, but...I managed to trick him into coming after me, and out of the cell. It's funny to think back on now, since he was about to spear me through with a broken cell bar! And he just would not leave the cell, not even when the police wanted to.

the only person I’ve seen here from home that I know of is a priest that works at the prison
we met briefly when I was trying to get the stand disc to spw
as far as I know he doesn’t have a stand and was in a position to probably take me down since a friend and I had just barely got through a pretty intense fight with someone else
I still remember how that creepy fuckin stand looked so I for sure haven’t seen it here yet

nah, it’s a good distraction since this is heavy shit
But it’s nice to know that the old man and I are a lot more alike than what I initially thought
I only saw star platinum once, but it felt like really assuring to see him for some reason if that makes sense

If you trust him, then I trust your opinion. Besides, there could be someone here neither of us have met yet...It wouldn't be hard to hide in the masses here. And most people rely on their Stands, so hiding one would be very hard.

Sorry for mentioning Dio without giving any actual context though! Of course Jotaro would try to forget that...From what I heard, he became involved with your family at least a hundred years ago. He...Stole your great-great-great-grandfather's body, after becoming a vampire? The story wasn't very clear when I heard it, but he definitely took Jonathan Joestar's body, and so became connected to your family by blood as well as by fate. He's the entire reason your family got Stands; he got one in Egypt, and so it was genetically passed on to the actual Joestar family. Your grandmother's stand almost killed her, so we had to kill Dio to save her from it, basically.

He's also generally an awful person. He manipulates and brainwashes and lies to people to make them do what he wants, so to have him out of this world would make it a lot better. But at the same time...If Dio's responsible for Star Platinum, I can't be too upset. He's definitely comforting to see, when you're not fighting him! I can't figure out why

I need to get some timelines in order here for reasons

Star platinum is pretty majestic like I want to take him to a ball game or something
But yeah, I got one of those. My dad left amulet with me for an emergency situation and was stabbed by it.
Like I didn’t know what to expect because like what the fuck no one ever explains these things
Stone free and I have gotten to know each other pretty well though, now they kind of pop out at inconvenient moments because apparently stands aren’t great at reading the atmosphere

Well, just be wary of him and make sure to form your own opinions as always. But it really wouldn't surprise me if it was someone completely unknown; Dio has operatives worldwide.

Timeline, timeline...Okay, so you're right about the 1800s I'm fairly sure! I couldn't give you exact years or anything, but it was definitely a long while ago, so early 1900s at the latest? And I'm from 1989, so even that much must be a long time ago for you...
Dio's not exactly human anymore, obviously. Considering he did magical surgery to replace his entire body, as just a sentient head...Vampires really do my head in to think about, to be honest. I'm glad they're a very, very rare thing or we'd be in a lot more trouble. Dio snatched Jonathan's body in the 1800s, then got thrown into the ocean in a coffin, and your great-grandfather had reports of a coffin with the letters D-I-O pulled out of the ocean onboard an empty trawler...Was that in 1987? I think it was. I hope that's somewhat of a timeline, though. It's wild, really!

That amulet must've had a piece of arrow in it...That's how most people get their Stands, if they don't get sick and die first. Not that you were in any danger of that, from the sounds of it! Still, that's not the best idea...It's helped from the sounds of it, but. Oh well. Stone Free is a nice name for it! Did you get to name yours? I'm a little sad that we couldn't name it after a tarot card like we named Star Platinum, but if I'm not around in your childhood, I suppose it makes sense. And Stands are reassuring, if nothing else. They make you feel less alone.

wow, that really is a whole lot to happen. i never met an actual vampire before coming here. but this timeline is really helpful with something else i'm thinking of. like it's no big deal, but it does't hurt to have necessary information. so considering jonathan was the beginning of this all he'd def have the family birthmark right?? surprisingly enough i think this is the only thing i really know about them.

i guess that explains that. i know i got real sick as a kid and almost died, it kind of really upset my mom that dad wouldn't come home for that. i was just kind of let down. but when i got stabbed by the amulet it wasn't quite that bad, but i know it affected a couple of other people that handled it. i still have it on me strangely enough, dad gave a very strong lecture over how i had to protect it.

but yeah, i got to name stone free. it's kind of symbolic of the situation i was in at that moment, and i guess still am even if i'm not stuck in that prison for now. having sf with me has been a huge relief for many reasons, though i have to admit i was kind of worried when i couldn't use 'em when i first got here because of the trouble i got into with the doctors. but after getting a considerable chroma boost it worked out.
