Hello, fellow Moonblessed! This is the Principality Aziraphale and I have a few subjects I'd like to discuss with you, if you have the time to spare.

One is simply a request for good book recommendations, though I'm also curious if anyone has ever run into books here they were familiar with back home?

The other is particularly for those also blessed by the Iris moon... Have you had any trouble with shocking things? And people? My last phase resulted in my being quite affectionate but it's a bit of a hardship trying to cuddle when you keep accidentally shocking your partner.

Is there a particular reason you're set on me changing my name?

Less set on and more I think assigning children numbers is a fucked-up thing to do to them. Sure, your average angelic name references God in some capacity, but She at least gave out functional names and didn't just number us all.

Besides, I changed my name. Twice, technically, but the first time it was more changed for me.

It's your life, though, so do what you want with it.

Sure. Emotion's still a factor for me, sometimes, so I can't say I got COMPLETE control over it yet. But Sanguis folks tend to be more... angry. I'm guessing that ain't exactly the case when it comes to cuddling your partner... unless there's trouble in paradise.

Hello! Indeed, it does mean I'm an angel, in fact.

And this charmer is Crowley. He's a demon. He's known me since Eden and been sort of my enemy for six millennia, but he's not anymore. We're on the same side, now.

OH, also he's my room mate! Almost forgot to mention that part.

The art history would be wonderful. And Crowley might like the astronomy! If he hasn't already seen the specific book, anyway.

Yes, I had heard that it can vary month by month. And hurting someone is precisely what I'd like to avoid.

Yeah, well. Having thrown out one set of rules, I never really adopted another. And we're the only ones who've been on Earth the whole time, instead of either end of the same bloody building. That kind of thing changes you.

Yes! Sangetsuki? And the novel. About Robert Louis Stevenson? Afraid I'm not very familiar with that one.

I suppose if you couldn't find it, you could always try hitting the sand with your magic again. I imagine it would have taken a pretty intense amount of heat for that to happen, though. It's usually caused by lightning strikes, isn't it?

I suppose they could have been. Now that you bring it up though, it does seem odd that they'd want to bless us with elemental magic, doesn't it? Unless they intended for us to use it fighting for them. To protect the moons, perhaps?

I suppose it originated from my knowing so many prophets over the centuries. None of them entirely accurate, I'm afraid, but they did have some very interesting and clever ideas.

I also own a bookshop of my own back home and I specialize in rare finds.

[Which he then doesn't want to sell. Because they become part of his collection. He doesn't add that bit, though.]

Oh my. That is quite an odd creature, if you don't mind my saying so. Then again, not the oddest thing I've seen to date. Is the creature sentient? Or... What do you call it. Programmed? Like a computer?

Well, that's a bit rude.

Other people seem to be more familiar with the electricity problem, though. So it would appear it's not just me.

Certainly not plagiarism. At the most, I'd say likely just guilty of having similar archetypes. But those do span many different cultures.

I'm from Earth as well, but at this point I'm not sure anymore if that necessarily means the same Earth.

I have been in the library a bit! I'll have to say hello if I see you there! :)

I did have a few tendrils in my hair as well, and they were a bit shocky themselves. An entire jellyfish, though? I'm not sure I can imagine what that must have looked like!

Oh, yes, of course! She did create the universe, after all. Er, our universe. ...You'll have to forgive me, I'm still getting used to the idea of there being multiple universes, and quite possibly multiple gods.

I had the shocking problem. And... the affectionate problem. It didn't happen often, just a few times. The shocking another person, I mean. There are people from my world who are capable of attacking others with electricity generated with their own life force, I was almost worried that was what I was doing.
