Eventually, we grow old, or a disease proves too strong. But you're right in that we don't really think about those things until they're right on us. We just assume that unless we're already dying that we don't have one foot close to the door.

But... I can't really answer what you ask. Even if death is fleeting, all the approaches to it aren't the least bit pleasant.

It's a strange subject. Even funerals are strange. Some places they're very somber affairs, full of crying and lamenting. In other places, they're huge parties meant to celebrate the life they left behind.

I guess it's still not a pleasant subject, though. Sorry. I feel like I worried a lot of people. Maybe it would've been best not to ask at all.

It's nothing to apologize for. I just feel a little embarrassed making people worry.

Her name is Hisoka. She owns an antique shop and cafe that I help her with. She's very kind and warm, and cares deeply for people. When I move in, she gave up her bedroom for me and moved into a different one-- She's that sort of person.

I hope you get to meet her again one day.

I do too. I don't want to wish she'll come here, because that seems a little too selfish, but... I think she'd find this sort of place fascinating. She'd make a lot of friends easily, and I doubt she'd have a problem with the moonlacing.

Sometimes I just try to think what she'd do or say to help me through things. Though I think most of it would be more just 'be nice and make friends, Yuri-chan.'

My personality's a bit more outgoing, but I'm sure with the right flavor of kindness I think you could figure something out for yourself too!
